Downy Fresh Protect is a canister of tiny discs. You fill the cap to the desired level and toss the discs straight into the washer bin with your clothes. It's not messy like using a liquid is. It works with front and top loading machines, standard and high efficiency. I have used the Downy Fresh quite often, and I think the smell lasts longer than using fabric softener. Previously, my towels would always come out of the dryer smelling moldy despite completely cleaning my washer and immediately putting the load into the dryer. It smells wonderful after using these though. If you haven't tried them and you're looking for fresher smelling clothes, give this a try!

This product is convenient and super easy to use. It makes my clothes smell fabulous. I have a hard time getting odors out of my towels and this product did the trick! I would highly recommend this product.. Fresh scent release at the exact time it's needed. Not to overpowering and long lasting. Also leaves your fabrics soft and smooth with a crisp nice clean aroma.. I normally don't use things with perfume smell. This scent was calm and relaxing I know before washing with it , it can seen strong but not when the washing and drying is complete. Perfect balance!!!

I am in love with this product. I have always been a loyal customer to downy and have just about used every downy product. This is such a great ptoduct for my work clothes. At times my clothes smells from farm dinners where they grill at make food at the farm and the smell can be really bad at times depending on the wood they're burning. And now when i use the downy fresh protect with febreze in wash odor protect i dont have to worry about that scent lingering on my work clothes even after washing.

I love the smell of this product, but it is quite strong. I love using it on towels and sheets to make them smell freshly washed longer! I work in an office very closely with others and although it isn't overwhelming, I am sensitive to others around me and don't use this product on my daily laundry. However, I feel like my sheets and towels seem much fresher for longer!

I'm in love with these wonderful smelling beads!! I wash my dogs and cats blankets and toys, regularly, but nothing seems to get the smell out. I added the beads to my wash and VOILA!! The smell was gone. I WILL be buying them regularly. I can't wait to try them in the wash on my husbands' restaurant work clothes!! I received a sample of Downy beads for free and this is my opinion on the product.

First of all it smells amazing! Just throw it inside your washer and let the scent work its magic. No residue left behind and it won't clog your washer! Thanks to Influenster I was able to try the Downy April fresh unstoppables for free and my opinion is 100% honest. In the past I've used the green bottle of unstoppables and I love it too.

I was lucky enough to receive sample sizes of the Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield from Influenster and so far I'm loving them! They smell and work great. The only thing I've noticed is that at the end of the wash cycle some of it hasn't disintegrated and stays at the bottom of my washing machine. So I wouldn't recommend for public washers! But otherwise, LOVING them!

These add a nice smell to the wash that last longer than the soap we usually use. Clothes smell fresh a lot longer, I like that. It's not something I would have usually bought but now that I have tried it I would buy it again and recommend it to to others. I normally go to the laundromat to do my wash since I don't have a washer and dryer at home. Taking this little bottle was much easier than carrying the jug with the liquid product. However, I had to use twice the recommended amount of product before I could achieve the nice fresh scent at the laundromat. I tried it out again at a friend's house and did my wash there. For those of you with a washer and dryer at home, I'd recommend this product. I was able to achieve the fresh scent I always do with only the recommended amount. I also didn't have to worry about missing the softener in the wash cycle. I did receive this product for free, but my opinions are honesty and all my own.
