These are a miracle on plastic bathtub units. My kid's tub gets so gross with soap scum. In the past I have used serious chemicals that burn your eyes and nose and scrub brushes with major elbow grease to get the same effect as one eraser sponge with minimal scrubbing. Love these things!

used this because of the previous reviews -it absolutely scarred, removed the wall coating and discolored my walls .i had to totally recoat the wall and repaint it was normal wear, a slight brush scuff from from walking by or a bag to take off the scuff, worst results, simple water on a rag actually worked better. sorry, don't normally take the time to review but seriously this was worse than than doing nothing at all shame on you for the false claims

Your product as a whole is fantastic. The problem is...
Marketing/Sales is based on affordability instead of quality. Why not advertise as “New and improved”, providing one quality product for all? The least expensive (which still costs too much), is not worth the money spent. The Magic Eraser falls apart immediately upon use, requiring the use of more erasers to get the job done. While the most expensive Magic Eraser works great, and does allow for getting the job done, with one eraser.
Why not save money by producing one quality eraser, and passing on the savings onto the consumer?

THIS PRODUCT IS THE BOMB.COM!!!!! It normally takes me at least 20 mins to clean my tub and shower walls. I was in shock at how it literally erase off all the dirt and soap scum in seconds. I was done in 3 mins!!!!! No harsh cleaning products that have you choking and coughing. No backaches from bending and scrubbing. THANK YOU!!!! for creating this PRODUCT!!!!! It is truly magic. Now I'm going to clean my kitchen and if it works the same on grease I will be back to write another review. Thanks again.

I have used these before for very small jobs.. they're fine for that! But as I prepare a family member's house to be sold, I learned quickly the Magic Eraser (even the "4X Stronger") has a very limited use-life before totally crumbling! Combine that fact with a large job, limited funds and only my own man power, I quickly learned to use only when necessary and as last resort! Any surface other than flat paint, I clean first with dry duster, then use soap/cleaner and water. Whatever that doesn't get, I use Clorox Cleanup and a scrub brush/sponge. Only when those fail can I afford to use the Magic Eraser. Flat paint is more difficult because depending on dirt/mark/stain, it's easy to scrub paint off. I try soap and water first and use sparingly. Magic Eraser crumbles even quicker on these walls. Sad fact I learned the hard way, it would have been cheaper, especially on trim and baseboards, to wipe them down and just repaint! This house was remodeled in the past 4 years with only 2 people living in it. They didn't have a dirty home so I'm shocked by the supplies I've had to use to clean properly! I'm hoping Mr. Clean will keep trying to get these to last longer! I'd certainly be more apt to use (and recommend) them if they can accomplish that!

This product started disintegrating nearly immediately rendering it useless in cleaning my tub. The cleaning agent in the sponge did seem to work, but if you cant use the sponge beyond a small 12 in area before needing to throw it away it isn't a good purchase. I've seen your responses to other about this same complaint about how it is made to break down over time & use. But come on, almost immediately is a bit ridiculous.

The magic eraser got a lot of unwanted dirt out after our usual cleaning with other products. My mother came home and said "WOW very nice!" I liked how clean the tub was after. But we have another problem a blue substance running down the middle that the magic eraser did scrub out quite a bit but not the whole thing. I think if the magic eraser had a little bit more power it would take out the blue substance as it did show signs of clearing up! And there's also a yellow substance where on the sides underneath where the shampoos and conditioners sit. I scrubbed it a little and it seemed that the yellow substance was on the magic eraser although I didn't scrub enough because I currently have to buy more magic erasers! However ithe magic eraser works excellent!

I just used a magic eraser I've had laying around for years. Oh my gosh! I used it in the tub and it really does look like a new tub! I could not believe it. Comet and Ajax wouldn't even clean off that ground in dirt on the non-slip surface. Minimal scrubbing and it was white again! I kept telling my daughter how amazing that is and she said I should be on a commercial!!

This sponge can handle everything from wiping grime off painted walls, trim, and doors to cleaning off years-old grease on wallpaper, refrigerators and stoves in kitchens. I don't have to scrub very hard or long to see amazing results! Makes tackling tough jobs easy and quick.

These 'erasers' don't last as long as a regular sponge does. However, they are WORKHORSES and I won't use anything else on the bathtubs or showers. They clean wonderfully without additional agents - even on soap scum in the tub. If you choose to use Comet, Lysol, etc., they work well together. After a thorough shower stall or tub cleaning, I can use the 'eraser' perhaps two or three more times and then it starts to lose its body shape. Wait! Did I tell you about cleaning the oven with them? Cut my cleaning time in half, I kid you not. It worked so well on the dried, old grease, and left the racks looking new. We have hard water out here, and the 'eraser' shines my crappy aluminum sink and the faucets too. They cost a little more than sponges, but absolutely worth it. You won't be disappointed.
