Great great great

I've been trying for years to find a product that really cleans my stainless steel kitchen sinks. This morning I opened a new pkg of Magic Erasers & tried one on the sinks. My sinks now look brand new. I use the erasers all the time but for some unknown reason never tried them on my sinks. I'm a happy camper today

This is a magic sponge, like really

I'm not a crazy cleaner, I like efficiency and products that are easy to use and work well. The magic eraser has actually saved my stove tops and walls from splatter and grease. I always have some in my house for stubborn stains that won't disappear.

Marketing / Sales Complaint

Your product as a whole is fantastic. The problem is...
Marketing/Sales is based on affordability instead of quality. Why not advertise as “New and improved”, providing one quality product for all? The least expensive (which still costs too much), is not worth the money spent. The Magic Eraser falls apart immediately upon use, requiring the use of more erasers to get the job done. While the most expensive Magic Eraser works great, and does allow for getting the job done, with one eraser.
Why not save money by producing one quality eraser, and passing on the savings onto the consumer?

It's important to us that you're always getting the clean you deserve with ease, Mae. Because we know that different messes require different tools, we've created a variety of Magic Erasers. Our Original and Extra Durable erasers don't contain extra cleansers, but our Kitchen, Bath Scrubber and Outdoor Pro erasers do. All of our erasers are designed to break down when used, just like a pencil eraser. For best results, be sure to wet the sponge, then squeeze out excess water. We'd love to restore your confidence in us, so please call us at (800) 248-1612 when you can.

is there a best way to clean walls with ME

We want to get our house ready to sell and would like to avoid painting all the walls. I tried M.E. on a wall with various little marks from something bumping into it. The marks largely disappeared but the wall does look a little blotchy. Maybe the M.E. removes the paint (light beige) a bit. Is there a preferred way to move the M.E. on a wall -- up and down strokes, across? Larger area than the spot?

These are a miracle on plastic bathtub units. My kid's tub gets so gross with soap scum. In the past I have used serious chemicals that burn your eyes and nose and scrub brushes with major elbow grease to get the same effect as one eraser sponge with minimal scrubbing. Love these things!

worst product i ever used in 40 years

used this because of the previous reviews -it absolutely scarred, removed the wall coating and discolored my walls .i had to totally recoat the wall and repaint it was normal wear, a slight brush scuff from from walking by or a bag to take off the scuff, worst results, simple water on a rag actually worked better. sorry, don't normally take the time to review but seriously this was worse than than doing nothing at all shame on you for the false claims

We understand your frustration, and want to let you know that we don’t recommend using our Bath Scrubber, Kitchen Scrubber, or Tub and Tiles on paint. The Original, Duo and Extra Power versions of our erasers can be used on paint, but we don't recommend using it on faux paint, car paint or surfaces where painted within the last 3 months. Only use on 'matte' or 'flat' finishes. Please give us a call at (800) 248-1612 when you have a minute so we can help you further.

Great product but short use life... use wisely!

I have used these before for very small jobs.. they're fine for that! But as I prepare a family member's house to be sold, I learned quickly the Magic Eraser (even the "4X Stronger") has a very limited use-life before totally crumbling! Combine that fact with a large job, limited funds and only my own man power, I quickly learned to use only when necessary and as last resort! Any surface other than flat paint, I clean first with dry duster, then use soap/cleaner and water. Whatever that doesn't get, I use Clorox Cleanup and a scrub brush/sponge. Only when those fail can I afford to use the Magic Eraser. Flat paint is more difficult because depending on dirt/mark/stain, it's easy to scrub paint off. I try soap and water first and use sparingly. Magic Eraser crumbles even quicker on these walls. Sad fact I learned the hard way, it would have been cheaper, especially on trim and baseboards, to wipe them down and just repaint! This house was remodeled in the past 4 years with only 2 people living in it. They didn't have a dirty home so I'm shocked by the supplies I've had to use to clean properly! I'm hoping Mr. Clean will keep trying to get these to last longer! I'd certainly be more apt to use (and recommend) them if they can accomplish that!

*Magic*

I love these things, although the package I bought recently doesn't have the fresh scent that provides not only the sparkling clean tub, tile, walls but leaves behind a fresh scent as well. I've been using them for over 10 years and hope they continue to make.the fresh scent.

Not for bath tubs

I used the magic eraser on my bath tub. The next morning when I took a shower, the tub was so slippery that I fell. My face hit the side of the tub and I was bruised. I have told all my friends and relatives to NEVER, NEVER use this item on their bath tub. The day before I used it, I saw a commercial on TV advertising the magic eraser and the person in the ad was using it on a bath tub so I thought it would be OK. Big mistake - it is not safe to use.

These are not the original

The original Mr. Clean magic erasers came with 2 sides. 1 of them was a sponge like substance. The other was like a scrubbing pad. These new 1's fall apart within seconds while scrubbing. I thought my husband just picked up the wrong type, but it seems like they are all the same. Can I get my money back for all of the packages I have purchased trying to get the right 1 that will actually work? I am furious!!!
