The wet pads always come off even you just cleaned a very small area. You need to put back the pads every minute to just finish the task. In frustration, I just used my hands or feet to mop. I thought the first time my swiffer was defective and hence bought a new one. It is still the same, wet pads come off easily. Very FRUSTRATING!!

The original packaging is very compact and the sweeper is very easy to assemble. The dry cloths also did a great job of cleaning the grout lines. Storage with this is also a plus. It takes up very little room in our pantry closet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swiffer wet cloths are very effective at cleaning light duty grime such as foot traffic, food stains, and general dust and dirt. It is difficult to scrub with the tool because it tends to swivel when you push too hard. The dry cloths were perfect at getting clumps of pet hair that was trapped around my refrigerator (see photo). It did not collect the cat litter strewn across my floors. A broom was better for particulates like litter, but the Swiffer cloths were great for dusting and catching cobwebs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper Floor Sweeper Mop is a convenient and easy way to clean your floors, combining both a sweeping function and a mopping function into one product. The sweeping mode is very much like its previous incarnation and the dry cloths work just as well. Where this product differs, however, is in its ability to also fit a wet pad soaked with cleaning solution to also mop your floors. Pros: less product to buy (you just buy the wet pads, not a separate cleaning solution), saves space, is lighter and easier to use. Cons: The solution imbedded in the pads seemed to run out fairly quickly (I could only mop a 6' x 10' space before running out) and the pads themselves don't seem to do as good of a job mopping as its previous incarnation due to a smoother surface area on the pads.Also.they cleaning head is 10" which is great for small spaces but it took a long time to sweep and mop a larger space. It would be nice if a larger option were also available. When it comes down to it, the Swiffer Sweeper Floor Sweeper Mop system is a good pick for smaller spaces and it's dual function makes it easy and convenient to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Swiffer products and feel like I've been using them since they were first intoduced in to the market years ago! They seriously pick up everything and it is so satisfying to see the cloth full of dirt once I'm done cleaning. The only thing that made me give the Swiffer one less star was the fact that I always seem to have to fix the cleaning pad as it comes undone from the base. I use it most in my kitchen and bathrooms, it always leaves the floor sparkling and not sticky.

Congratulation to Swiffer for I think this is the best commercial of the year. The couple that was in the commercial were so believable. The humor was great! Original and I am glad that in our modern day that some clean humor and selling of a product really made us purchase the product. We couldn't wait for it to appear on the air again. Even the younger generation liked this commercial.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Swiffer® Sweeper® Floor Mop Starter Kit is great. Easy to assemble. The product cleans great on my hardwood floors. I had to hand scrub on some spots but it's OK and it gave the wood a great shine. We were amazed how well it cleans and shines. The mop handle is lightweight and easy to use. The mop pads fit just right. Both the wood floor and the multi-surface work great and leave a streak-free surface. I've used this Floor Kit for several times now and it has met my expectations. I highly recommend this product.

I wet mop the hardwood floors once per week, have a robotic vacuum clean the floors three times per week and dry mop intermittently. Even after the robotic vacuum cleaned only a few hours before, I used my Swiffer Sweeper and was able to pick up more dust and grime on the floor. What's the best with my Swiffer Sweeper is it's very easy to maneuver around awkward and tight spaces of my home. Also, when the cloth gets too dirty, you just toss the sheet and start afresh. Try doing that with your dry mop!
