I sure wish that I had purchased this years ago. Raised 2 kids & 2 dogs on a Pergo kitchen floor. I always swept the floor, & then mopped with a damp rag that I placed under a sponge mop. Wish I hadn't tortured myself so. Tried this one time so far, using the dry pad followed by the damp. Forgot how beautiful my floor could look! From now on, this will be my favorite cleaning tool.

I purchased this unit to replace the one we had purchased decades ago (the pad ha hardened and fell apart). The new unit has a metal handle that snaps together (the old one had sections that screwed together). I've used the mop with the wet pads and it cleans very well; however, it's not as good as the old swiffer wet jet unit that you can squirt the wet solution (as much or as little as you need). I'm happy with the unit and will use it to clean my tile and slate floors.

Love the swifter products, I've bought them as gifts as well as use in my own home. I use it for both dusting my hardwood floors and let me tell you they definitely pick up a lot. I also use the wet pads for my bathrooms , laundry and kitchen. I've made my own hardwood cloths to fit my swifter for my hardwoods so I use this for all non-carpeted flooring in my home.

This package is a deal! You pay almost twice as much to buy this starter package. Easy to put together and use. The wet swiffers do a wonderful job to pick up all the dirt and dust from the floors and leave a clean, fresh scent

We live in the country and have 6 rescue dogs who have doggie door access 24-7. Our floors are all tile excepting a Family Room area rug. Our German Shepherd is a real shedder even though I have her in a puppy cut during the summer. Even with that, she sheds in the summer. The dry cloth mop works fantastic in sweeping up the fuzzy dog hair. Very impressive how the dog hair fuzz sticks to the dry cloth. I am very disappointed in the wet cloths. They do a very poor job of getting spots up off of the tile; whereas, our spray mob works great on all spots .. even stubborn ones. I doubt I'll be buying any more of the wet cloths after I use up the 2 containers I ordered with the mop; but will definitely use the dry cloths as a quick pickup on the dog hair on the tile. I would not recommend this mop if you are wanting to use it as a wet mop. So am rating it a yes on recommending it for a dry mop only.

Both the mop and the duster feel very thin and fragile. With that said, I am still satisfied. I live in a shared apartment and although I wouldn't use it for the high traffic common area, it is perfect for my private bathroom. The duster work very well too.

The handle comes in 4 pieces of thin metal, the wet pads were ineffective at cleaning a dried spill and the overall quality of the unit was not worth the cost. Will be returning.

I feel like the swiffer dry is equivalent to a light dusting. It pushes the dirt and grass around and it doesn't cling to the disposal cloth. I have 3 kids and a tiny dog and pass it daily. I push the crumbs, and dust into a pile and use another cordless sweeper to suction it up. The 1 good thing is I can pass it under the couches and push the dirt out so I can vaccuum it up. It is light but i prefer my reusable microfiber duster. I have laminate floors around my house so i clean daily otherwise you can see the dirt.
