[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Swiffer when they first came out so it is the old one. I love it. It does a fantastic job picking up cat and dog hair. I use the swiffer to also dust the ceilings and walls. Just wanted to say thank you for making such wonderful products. I also use the long handled yellow duster - love it also. By the way my cats chase the swiffer every time I use it - so they must love it also. I believe they think it is their toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this item in an effort to give my son an easy way to clean up after himself (similar to the commercials I have seen recently). Excellent product. Now my son has no excuse NOT to clean up after himself (he likes it).

I have a bit of a cynical reaction to the commercial showing the ecstatic older couple using the Swiffer. Have you ever actually had an older person, possibly with arthritic fingers, try to attach the cloths to the Swiffer? I have difficulty - the cloths come unattached while I'm dusting, and I hate trying to push the wet cloths into the holes and getting my hands wet. How about clamps? I think a lot of consumers would replace their Swiffers with one that was redesigned to make it easier to use.

I am young but have injured both knees and now cannot kneel to clean the bathroom floors. I hoped that this product with the wet cloth would do the trick for me. Within one minute of using this product I knew that it would not clean dust, dirt and hair from my bathroom floor, especially in the tight confined space of the toilet room (my commode is in a separate smaller room off the main bathroom). Especially bad is that there isn't any flexibility in the head to be able to use it on the baseboards, where the dust and hair collect just as much as the floor. There is no substitute for a standard mop or cleaning on your hands and knees with a cloth and soapy water.

This works quite well for both dry and wet cleaning, especially since I have to clean up after an old cat on a daily basis. I still use a regular mop for more deep cleaning, but this works great for quick clean ups. My only issue is the holes that hold the pad in place have stopped working. they no longer clench the mop pads. So everytime I mop I have to try to reposition the pads.

This is my second purchase of this product and will be my last. I purchased this item several years ago and had the same problem this time as I did the first time . The head broke off where it attaches to the handle again. I thought perhaps it was constructed better this time around but no such luck. I exert some pressure to scrub on some stubborn spots and the handle breaks off. I care for 2 small children so I do get some stubborn spots. This product may be okay for a brand new home with new linoleum, but for my floors , I will go back to my good ole mop.

Could we perhaps get a handle that guys can use without the dang thing bending when pressure is applied? A one piece considerably stiffer handle would be awesome, sometimes there are goobers on the floor that require extra pressure vs a light gliding over of the swifter.

I purchased the Swiffer Vacuum because my daughter had one and raved about hers. Problem is the rechargeable battery on mine is JUNK. I haven't had it long (although past warrantee) and it won't even charge any more. I should have returned it right away but liked the idea of it and didn't expect it to fail so fast. I always maintained it well and kept it cleaned out. We took it apart to see if we could replace the battery and discovered they used a cheap rechargeable battery pack from another country. I'm VERY disappointed in it and never expected to find that.

What changed with this mop/cloths. The four corner cloth grippers are so flimsy the cloths will not stay in place, particularly the wet cloths. The one I had many years ago held the cloths much better. It takes 2 wet cloths to clean a small bathroom floor because the cloths keep falling off. The dry cloths don't pick up dirt like they use to ok for dusting but not to really clean a floor.

I like that this product is a sweeper and a wet mop. all you have to do is switch out the pad. What I don't like, and the reason this isn't 5 stars, is because I have to bend over alot to use it as I'm tall and it hurts my back. Please make one with a longer extending handle.
