Good product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Swiffer Wet and Dry, but I don't think it's as throughout as a deep clean gets you. It's great for a quick job however, and when you have 5 kids like myself, you often only have time for those! Although the sample didn't make it to my home, I went out and purchased one myself because I was curious if it could work for me and fit my needs-- which it does!

Nice, easy clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have laminate flooring (tile and hardwood) in my house and I usually clean using my broom followed up with my steam mop. When the Swiffer kit arrived I was a little nervous using something that was easy to put together but I have to say I am impressed with the job the Swiffer did. I used the Swiffer dry pad in my kitchen after I did my normal sweep job. I was impressed and a little concerned that so much dirt was on my floor after sweeping. I then used the wet pad on the floor and I couldn't believe how much stuff was on the pad after I mopped. My floors looked great after using the Swiffer and I will use it again; I will say that for sticky messes my steam mop is the way to go as you have to really scrub with the Swiffer but for a basic cleaning I like the Swiffer.

Swiffer Sweeper Wet/Dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit is very easy to assemble out of the box. You can attach either a dry dusting cloth or wet pad very easily onto the bottom of the Swiffer. I mostly use the wet pads for washing. The pads work great. They pick up the dirt quickly and easily and lock it into the pad. They leave behind no sticky residue on the floor, which I have experienced with some other floor cleaners. I use the dry dusting cloths to pick up pet hair that can accumulate on the floor, it has no trouble with that. I think the dry cloth is best used for just light cleaning on the floors. If you have a large room I think you would need at least two or three cloths to complete the whole thing. All in all this is a great alternative to a bucket and mop since it locks all the dirt deep into the cleaning pad and you don't feel as if you're spreading it all over the floor.

Great Tool for Keeping Floors of All Kinds Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tried the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit in my home. The starter kit comes with a mop that can be easily assembled, 7 dry cloths, and 3 wet cloths. I have a range of floor surfaces in my home--ceramic tile, wood floor, and slate tile. I tried the dry cloth first and used it on all the floor surfaces in my home. I should point out that there are two pets in my house: 1 cat that sheds moderately and 1 dog that sheds more intensely. Fur gets everywhere. I dry mop and vacuum, as well as seep, but it seems almost impossible to keep up with the dust and fur in my house. The Swiffer dry cloth picked up an amazing amount of dust and fur. I cleaned off batches of fur periodically as I used the mop, and then continued on. I was very impressed with how well the cloth cleaned. I then tried the wet cloth in my kitchen, which sees a lot of activity and is also home to my dog's water and food dish. I found the wet cloth a little trickier to attach to the Swiffer mop than the dry cloth. Once on the mop, the wet cloth did a pretty good job of cleaning up the floor surface, although I'm not sure that the liquid that the wet cloth is packed with was distributed evenly as I cleaned the kitchen floor. I definitely like the dry cloths best and will probably use them on a regular basis. One of the things that I especially like about the Swiffer mop is how flat it collapses as you are using it. It was able to reach under some things in my home like a chest in my living room and a pantry cabinet in my kitchen that my existing upright mop cannot. It's definitely a great feature of the mop. Overall, I really like the reach and lightweight nature of the Swiffer mop, and the dry cloths worked especially well for me. I'm very glad I tried it and will continue using it.

so easy even a toddler can use it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of swiffers. Since I now have a toddler that makes a huge mess and a dog that sheds everywhere, my hands are always full and I can use any help I can get. Anytime I can find something that can make my life easier, I'm willing to pay for it. With the swiffer, I don't need to grab a broom and dustpan. Let's see why a swiffer is better than a broom/dustpan combo: One handed operation - It really is that simple that I can swiff around one handed. When you're holding a fussy baby and trying to clean up, this is a huge help. No dust flying around - The pads trap all of the dirt and dust as you move around. A broom sometimes just moves dust elsewhere. Wet wipes - these help remove marks off the floor in cases where a dry broom won't do. Adjustable - The handle is also really neat in that I can adjust the length of it so that my 19 month old toddler can actually push the swiffer around to help clean up. So with 2 of them, your kid can model your behavior and start cleaning up too. Once he grows taller, I can add on additional sections so that it fits him. Good for aging folks - if you have a bad back, you don't need to crouch down to use a dustpan or get on the floor to scrub out some stain.

Minimalist and efficient

We use this in my house, it is so much easier than a bucket and a mop! It dries fast and leaves a very clean scent. I like how you can flip the wet mops over and get the most out of them. I also wet them again to get a little extra cleaning power out of one. It's a very efficient and minimalist way to clean.

Piece of Garbage

Bring back the old swiffer design! This cheap, lightweight base doesn't hold well like the older, heavier design base. It feels like I'm sweeping small rock particles and scratching the wood floors. Shame on you for designing such a piece of garbage. I do not recommend this.

Swiffer Sweeper Wet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer was very easy to assemble (and disassemble for convenient storage) and did its job very well. It picked up all the dust, hair, and particles that where on my kitchen and living room floor. I have "hard-wood" laminate in the living room and tile in my kitchen. The textured wet cloth did a nice job of getting up most visible marks. Like any product, it's hard to get in the grout creases, but really the only sure way to get that clean is to get down on your hands and knees with a sponge, which I prefer not to do. I also love that you can just throw the cloth away and don't have to track the dirt around. Overall, I'd recommend this over a traditional mop.

So convenient, works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in a small apartment, space is key for me. To keep a mop and bucket in my small coat closet would take up way too much valuable real estate. I can store the swiffer standing against the corner of my closet and it takes up no space at all, and the refills fit under my sink with the rest of my cleaning supplies. Pro #1. I also have a dog. Dogs shed, and track in mud and leaves, etc. To pull out my vacuum cleaner every time this happens is a pain. With the swiffer, I can just pull it out, and pop on the appropriate cloth (wet for sticky yucks, dry for hair and dirt) and I can clean up the mess in seconds. Pro #2. Lastly, the wet cloths work just as well as traditional liquid floor cleaner with less fuss. The scrubber strip helps me clean smaller crevices and grout, etc. The quality of the sheets is great, and I absolutely recommend the swiffer brand over the generics any day, having tried them both. Pro #3. I'll happily continue to use my Swiffer brand duster and cloths for a very long time!

Great for a quick clean up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find myself cleaning my floors much more frequently since I purchased the Swiffer Sweeper Floor Mop. It is so easy to use that there is no excuse not to! No more dirty mop water or cleaning out the bucket. I also feel that although the pad gets discarded after each use, it is more environmentally friendly than dumping a bucket full of chemicals and water down the drain.
