Lifesaver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the length of this, I'm 5'3 and I'm able to use it without having to bend over and hurt my back any. It's easy to push along the floors and picks up most of the dirt and dust. It does not get everything up and leaves some gritty feeling on the floor. The wet pads are great, they do a really great job of cleaning the floors but the grit left from the dry cloths makes the wet pads get dirty fast. The pads are really easy to put on the sweeper and also to remove.

Really easy use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Floor Sweeper Mop is super light and easy to assemble right out of the box! Attaching the wet or dry pads is simple and they stay on tight during use. I needed two wet pads to clean my kitchen floor due to it being really dirty which is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. However, the dry pads made quick work of my dusty, pet hair covered wood floors. The Swiffer Sweeper Floor Sweeper Mop can easily replace your traditional dust mop and wet mop in one lightweight solution! Really love how easy it is to use.

Best Bang for your Buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Swiffer Sweeper for years now & I love it. I was so happy to be part of this BzzCampaign. I received my BzzKit and I've replaced my old Swiffer Sweeper since I needed to get a new one already. It's literally the only thing I use. It's great for me because I am a college student living in apartments that don't have much space and I get a mop and a broom all in one that fits in the corner of the fridge. It's great for small spaces like mines, plus it does a great job with cleaning too. I use the wet pads more than the dry because I think they work so well at cleaning up my everyday messes and keeping my apartment spotless. Plus I love the fact that it's so cheap but does such a great job.

Better Than Nothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] And arguably better than a standard broom and mop. Putting the unit together was easy enough and, because the handle comes in multiple parts, it appears that there is some level of height customization. However, this also means that the handle is a bit less sturdy than I would like. It's not flimsy by any stretch, but it does have a bit of a wobble. The grip is nice, and definitely ergonomically designed (I flipped it by accident at one point and it was not pleasant). The design is such that it can get under things with relative ease, so it's great for getting into dusty corners or under lower furniture. The disposable pads, both dry and wet, were easily inserted. The pads themselves were manageable. I preferred the dry, "sweeping" sheet. It grabbed a good deal of dirt and hair even after I ran the vacuum. It does not pick up anything dense or large, though - it just pushed around the bigger crumbs that it unearthed from under the cabinets. While I haven't tried it for this purpose yet, I bet it might be good for cleaning ceiling fans and reaching dust on the walls. The wet pad came in an enclosed foil-like packet. There is no notch, tab, or other tearable section, so I had to use scissors (not a huge deal, but less convenient). When I opened it, a bunch of collected cleaner fluid spilled onto the floor. As I was going to clean the floor anyway, it didn't matter much to me - just be careful where you open it. It didn't seem to have enough juice to cover the whole kitchen, let alone the bathroom and living room. Because of its design, a great deal of cleaning solution gets concentrated in one area and then the rest feels dry. With a good deal of scrubbing, I was able to get out some stickier messes. At one point, I realized I had put the wet cloth on backwards and had to switch it. When I tried to remove it, it tore pretty easily. Still, it definitely picked up even more dirt. All in all, this is definitely more convenient to use than a broom and dust pan, or a mop and bucket. I definitely think it's a great replacement for sweeping. That said, my small apartment would need two or more wet cloths for a decent once-over and using them gets a bit messy. For mopping purposes, I'll stick with what I've got.

So easy the kids can do it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always looking for the easiest way to cleanup the house. I think if your floors are clean, it really sets the tone for the rest of the house. It was a breeze cleaning for holiday guests with Swiffer dry and wet cloths. Attach a cloth to the sweeper tool and go! It was so easy I enlisted the help of my kids to get our floors in tip-top shape.

Wet and dry cloths

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Swiffer Dry and Wet sweeping kit about a week ago because I purchased a house and needed something for some quick and easy clean up. I chose this kit because it comes with wet and dry cloths as well as heavy duty of each kind. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends because it's easy to assemble and comes with multiple kinds of cloths in case you are unsure of what kind to purchase.

Swiffer 1 dog hair 0

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new swiffer and reviewing it. I love it in the kitchen, anything that picks up golden retriever hair is a win! I use the wet wipes for those muddy rainy days instead of dragging out the mop. I also love it for quick cleanups in the bathrooms, just change the pad for each bathroom and I'm done!

Good at what it does

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wasn't sure if the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit was going to be worth it. But after spending some time using it, I think that it is. It is not a total replacement for the broom and dustpan or mop and bucket, but for quickly being able to tidy up the floors between cleanings, it's totally worth it. The kit comes disassembled, but snaps together super quick. Slap on a dry cloth and you're on your way in less than a minute. In looking at the cloth after going over the kitchen floor, it's clear that the thing really is a dirt magnet. There's a lot on there; small crumbs, one of my daughter's hair elastics and plenty of cat hair. Lots and Lots of cat hair. We have two, and all hard wood and tile. This thing is great for picking up all of that fuzz that the seem to drop off everywhere. What is also nice is that the cloth curls up over the edge of the Swiffer, so it makes it easy to run along the baseboard and get the dust and dander that sits there. Now there are some limitations. Larger crumbs and other "objects" just get pushed around. Also, if something bigger does end up getting stuck under there, it raises up the pad, so you tend to miss some spots. But that's not what the Swiffer is really for, hence my earlier comment about it not totally replacing the broom and dustpan. We still need to pull that out of cleaning day. But to straighten up the kitchen after dinner, this is the quick and easy way to go. Also, I can clean the whole house (3 bedrooms, 2 bath, Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen) with just one cloth. Sometimes I can even get two go arounds on one depending on how dirty things are. I liked the wet cloths too, but again, they have there limits. Is the Swiffer your best bet after the kids track their muddy footprints through the kitchen and down the hall? Probably not. With that much, once the cloth becomes full of mud, they don't work so well and just kind of push stuff around. But, for a small spill or those little sticky spots that seem to mysteriously appear in the living room, these work pretty well, and are a whole lot easier than pulling out the mop and bucket. The only real complaint that I have is that the don't really have much scrubbing power. I wish that there was a rougher part that you could use to scour a bit to get up those harder spots. But other than that, they do what they were designed to do pretty well. So, now that I have the starter kit, I will definitely be buying the refills. I'm not getting rid of any of the other cleaning tools in the house, but am certainly glad to be able to add these to the arsenal.
