Swiffer Sweeper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I wanted to love this product, it fell short of my expectations. When my Swiffer arrived, I couldn't wait to use it on my hardwood floor entrance. Eventhough there weren't any directions included in my box, I was able to figure out how to attach everything correctly. I used the dry cloth first. It was easy to use, and as you can see from the picture, the cloth picked up quite a lot. I then used the wet cloth on my floors. After a few sweeps, the cloth fell off. This happened several times until I got so frustrated I took the cloth off and finished the floors by hand. Definitely not convenient! Although I liked using the dry cloth, it wasn't enough for me to love this product overall.

Worth it for the Mopping Cloths!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first, I am a bit of a clean freak. I've tried several different products and was resigned to having to scrub on my hands and knees to get a truly clean floor. That said, I was very excited to try this product. Attaching the cloth was very simple and I had no issues with it falling off while I cleaned the floors. It was comfortable to use and easy to maneuver. I was a bit disappointed with the dry cloth, which is advertised as having the ability to trap dirt and hair. I have very long hair that I find all over the house, and I also have 2 dogs. It did grab onto dust, but it mostly seemed to push the hair around. I could get into hard to reach spots and pull the hair into a little pile to sweep up, but it definitely didn't "trap" it as well as I hoped. The mopping function was a different story! I was very happy with the job it did mopping up sticky messes (as I have 2 toddlers as well!) First you wipe the floor with one side of the wet mopping cloth, then you flip it over to scrub and get a deep clean. I thought it performed very well and I didn't have to tire my arms out pushing into the floor to get better results. I think it's great for a quick sweep in between vacuuming or sweeping with the broom, and the mopping functionality make its worth the purchase.

Dry Swiffer Good, Wet Swiffer Not so Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Swiffer products in the past so was interested to try the wet/dry Swiffer Sweeper. The dry Swiffer Sweeper was, as always, awesome at picking up dust from the floor. My one complaint with these is that they don't really replace a broom or vacuum on hard floors; they can't sweep chunks. However, they do a great job of getting the dust that brooms and vacuums don't pick up. My kids also love to "swiff" using the dry cloth, and it's actually helpful when they do. The adjustable handle means I can make a short one just their size. Now for the wet cloths. I was not a fan of them. When I opened the package to take one out, liquid dripped all over the floor and continued to do so as I attached it to the Swiffer. I had to use THREE cloths to clean the half of my house that's hard floors (about 1000 sq feet total). At the beginning of each cloth, the floor would get very wet with cleaning solution, but very quickly the moisture would be gone, and I'd have to get a new cloth out. This seems wasteful and not very effective for cleaning. So I will keep using my other, refillable stick mop that has reusable mop cloths. It's much better for the environment and has much easier management of cleaning solution.

Clean in no time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is a great way to start Swiffering! I was very pleased how easy it was to put the wand together. Just a couple of clicks and I was on my way to a cleaner house. The dry pads are amazing. I have two dogs and one cat and the dry cloths picked up all the hair and held onto it. My house has all hardwood flooring so this is perfect for my life. The wet pads really get the floor clean and it's so easy. I love that I can just throw the dirty pad away. No mop, no bucket! I am disabled and floor cleaning has been difficult for me. The Swiffer products definitely made my life easier. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants their floors clean quickly and easily.

A Clean Easy Sweep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the product. It is easy to use, easy to store and does a great job. The dry cloth really traps the dirt and leaves the floor ready for the finishing touch. After the wet cloth my floor was shining. The clothes are easy to put on and the unit is easy to store. It only took one pass to do each of the steps. I definitely recommend this product.

Swifter Sweeper helps my house stay spotless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is always fairly clean. I have a robot vacuum that runs daily on my hardwood and carpet floors. I use a cleaner on the hardwood about once every other week. I decided to clean my floors on the off week after my robot vacuumed. I was surprised how dirty my floors still were. I could maneuver around the cracks and crevices that my vacuum could not get to. I tossed the sheet and put a new one on. Next up is my basement. I love my Swiffer!

wet mop worst product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the cloth does not stay on the sweeper. The opening to push in the cloth does not hold the cloth, I've bought several more but they all become loose and the cloth does not stay on the sweeper. The opening becomes too large. I'm going back to my old mop Now I have 3 sweepers and a whole box full of refills that I am unable to use. This is the worst Proctor and Gamble product Ii have used.

Great for small jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Swiffer Sweeper dry pad on my floor. My floor had not been swept in about a week and we have and indoor/outdoor cat and dog. It picked up much of the debris on the floor. I was able to get the sweeper into small places. Then I used the wet pad. The wet pad worked great at first. My only issue was that one pad barely cleaned my kitchen floor which has about 200 square feet of tile. If I were to regularly use the sweeper for all of the hard floors in my house, it would take at least 4 of the wet pads and 2 or 3 of the dry. For this reason, I think it would be too expensive to use this system for a large home. If you have a smaller area, I think it works great. I also love that you don't have to wait a long time for the floor to dry after moping.

work pretty well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect item to try since i recently bought a new bedroom set and my vacuum does not fit under the bed or the dresser. The sweeper dry cloth collects dust very well however the wet cloth I feel like dries out pretty quickly. The sweeper is very light and compact, fits perfectly behind the door in my kitchen. Overall it is a great product.

Love the new improved Sweeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Swiffer products in the past and felt the idea was great but the product did not live up to the hype. Often the products felt cheap or broke within a few uses. I was eager to try the new Swiffer Dry + Wet and see if there was a difference. I'm happy to say there is! The sweeper itself is more flexible and maneuverable then it's predecessor. The handle is more sturdy and doesn't bend, but still remains lightweight. I really love how the dry sweeper pad gets under low furniture and picks up all the cat hair and dust. The wet pad is very saturated and was able to handle a large area (Kitchen, dining room and small living area). I also tried the wet pad all by itself without sweeping first to see it's pick up power. It did fairly well, but did leave "rolls" of lint on the floor. I guess I can't be lazy and skip that step. I would definitely recommend this product if solely for the ease of getting at the dirt under furniture.
