[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit, I am 36 and have never used a Swiffer before. My home has used a combination of broom with dustpan and a hard floor vacuum my whole life. On the rare occasion we would pull out the mop to make ourselves feel good. So I put my cleaning to the test. I first cleaned my floors my way. Broom and dustpan, which produced the normal light amount of dirt. We sweep 2-3 times a week so the floors are never really dirty, or so I thought. I then went through and vacuumed the floors. Surely there would be nothing left for the Swiffer. Boy was I wrong. I am not sure how this amazing floor cleaning tool can do it. I mean the dirt that was picked after made me want to gag that I haven't used it before. "My kitchen has always been this dirty?" I said to myself, gross. This is easy to use, my 5 year old was having a blast dancing around the floors with it and just discard the wipe when I was done. It easily moves under tables, around chairs and the hardest of them all, in the bathroom behind the toilet! Swiffer clean will be my new standard of cleanliness. P.S. Swiffer also makes sock sliding on hardwood real easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I wanted to love this product, it fell short of my expectations. When my Swiffer arrived, I couldn't wait to use it on my hardwood floor entrance. Eventhough there weren't any directions included in my box, I was able to figure out how to attach everything correctly. I used the dry cloth first. It was easy to use, and as you can see from the picture, the cloth picked up quite a lot. I then used the wet cloth on my floors. After a few sweeps, the cloth fell off. This happened several times until I got so frustrated I took the cloth off and finished the floors by hand. Definitely not convenient! Although I liked using the dry cloth, it wasn't enough for me to love this product overall.

The ease and convenience of bring able to toss when finished is a huge plus for me. The design is thin and flexible and that makes it easy to sweep under furniture. I prefer to use the dry cloths rather than wet refills, because I choose to use to use only natural products for washing the floors where my dogs will be. The refills are somewhat expensive, so something to keep in mind.

I have a large tiled kitchen and Florida room with two entrances so lots of foot traffic tracking sand or worse onto the floors all the time. The Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit comes with a lightweight swivel handle with a flat mop head base where you easily attach the wet or dry cleaning pads. You don't have to get your hands dirty either. The kit contains dry pads that almost magically grab even the smallest bits of sand from my floors. The kit also includes wet pads that allow you to keep your floors looking great in a jiffy. The Swiffer dry mop/pad amazes me every time I use it. It grabs so much sand and dirt, it is ideal for a quick swipe in the morning before starting a busy day. The Swiffer mop is so light and maneuvers so easy that It is actually fun cleaning the floor. I will continue to use the dry mop to keep up my floors in between deep cleaning. The Swiffer wet mop/pad comes out of the package very wet and has a pleasant scent. It is so easy to get under cabinets or furniture and makes a quick clean up every day without leaving a residue on my floors. The wet pad doesn't quite make it all the way through my two main tiled floors so I use a spray bottle of water to wet the last few feet and it works great. I don't know how they could make the pad stay wet longer, and I could use a second pad if needed. I cannot believe I found the secret to keeping my floors looking so clean all the time. Have you ever walked into someone's home and it looks immaculate? You know they are a busy family but the floors always look just cleaned and you wonder how they keep them that way. Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit is the secret! I have heard people rave about Swiffer for years but, honestly, never thought it could be that great. I was so wrong, and I worked way too hard for too many years to keep my floors clean. If only I had listened to others when they told me how much they loved their Swiffer; how they couldn't get through their day without their Swiffer, and so on. I am now one of those people. I say the same things now!! I have already bought replacement pads for my Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit. I am so happy I had the opportunity to test the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit and to have had plenty of time to test it during the holidays, the busiest and most stressful time of the year. I did not stress about drop in visitors this year because I had the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit. That is the secret!

It is great for picking up dirt and pet hair, especially in the corners. The dry pads work well on wood floors and the wet work best on tile. It is very light. The base swivels around chair and table legs. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an almost 2 year old 170 pound great dane named Otto. Imagine a puppy bigger than a grown man. Last week we had almost 2 feet of snow and most has melted. You can only imagine the mud- add in a giant puppy (who thinks he is small) and you can picture how my wood and laminate floors looked this week. My swiffer wet and dry pack arrived just in time. My 10 year old daughter loves to use the wet pads to follow Otto and clean up his giant footprints. The dry pads are amazing in grabbing all the fall shedding in the dark corners and under my furniture. We have used the swiffer several time a day and even though I bought a very expensive steam mop recently, the swiffer is are day-to-day go to!

Having the option to use either the dry cloth or the wet cloths with this all in one sweeper floor mop kit makes cleaning quicker, which is a bonus because I am a busy mom. It's simple enough to change out, just pop off the dry cloth when you're done and insert the wet one and you're good to go.

I first used the dry mop cloths and they got up all the loose grime off of the floor then I followed with the wet wipes and it cleaned and shined my hardwood and tile floors. I love that I could just use the wipes and then turn them over and use the other side. What a great product I highly recommend to all busy moms trying to keep the house clean !!!!

The dry cloth really traps the dirt and leaves the floor ready for the finishing touch. After the wet cloth my floor was shining. The clothes are easy to put on and the unit is easy to store. It only took one pass to do each of the steps. I definitely recommend this product.
