Since I now have a toddler that makes a huge mess and a dog that sheds everywhere, my hands are always full and I can use any help I can get. Anytime I can find something that can make my life easier, I'm willing to pay for it. With the swiffer, I don't need to grab a broom and dustpan. Let's see why a swiffer is better than a broom/dustpan combo: One handed operation - It really is that simple that I can swiff around one handed. When you're holding a fussy baby and trying to clean up, this is a huge help. No dust flying around - The pads trap all of the dirt and dust as you move around. A broom sometimes just moves dust elsewhere. Wet wipes - these help remove marks off the floor in cases where a dry broom won't do. Adjustable - The handle is also really neat in that I can adjust the length of it so that my 19 month old toddler can actually push the swiffer around to help clean up. So with 2 of them, your kid can model your behavior and start cleaning up too. Once he grows taller, I can add on additional sections so that it fits him. Good for aging folks - if you have a bad back, you don't need to crouch down to use a dustpan or get on the floor to scrub out some stain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm quite impressed with the swiffer wet/dry sweeper. It arrived in a small box and the assembly of the product was super easy. The wet cleans up sticky spills nicely without leaving the hardwood streaky. The dry sweeper picks up all my kid crumbs magnetically, along with dust and dirt. It was certainly easier than pulling out the vacuum for a quick clean up. I took a pic to show how much it picked it on the first go around. Yuck lol. You do need to change the wet/dry pads in order for a thorough cleaning of a larger area...my only reason for giving this 4 stars instead of 5.

Your cloth gripper does not last, each time one is forced to purchase a new kit, because the grip for cloth no longer grips, it becomes weak over use. It is not strong enough grip to hold the wet pads. What duration of times used is the grip expected to last? You really need to improve cloth attachments (grip) or produce a new way of attaching swifter pads of any type. Other than that the product works as advertised. Will look for your response…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is magical. Removes all dust and cat hair, which is great considering that I have two cats and a house close to a dusty avenue. The floor was really clean after trying the thick dry cloth. At first trying I only used one of each to see how much of the dirt it can absorb and I was amazed after watching the results. The Swiffer itself is amazing, definitely better than the old one... Rotating, easy to use and soft. It has a better shape, more movement and an ergonomic design. I found two important points: The first one is the cleaning of sticky stuff on the floor with the wet clothes. It's still hard to do it when you let the dirty part get dry. I found convenient to put some more of the liquid (the extra liquid in the wet clothes bag) and it worked out. It was completely clean, which is fantastic. The second point is the cleaning of the Swiffer itself. After a few weeks of use my last Swiffer got dirty, and it was hard to make it clean again. I have been using the new one for a few weeks and fortunately it hasn't gotten dirty yet. I will have to wait and see how it works after a while. In conclusion this is a great product, the new one is always better than the old one. I love easy things and the Swiffer keeps being my favorite.

This product is good in theory but manufactured cheaply. I've purchased 5 mops over a 2 year period (no more!) because the metal handle easily stresses under pressure and breaks. I even tried adding 1 less extension which helps but still the metal handle breaks. The manufacture should double the thickness of the metal used otherwise stick to wooden handles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love the swifter!!! i love how you can do both dry or wet. so now my husband will swifter around the house every other day! it's an easy way to just get the cat hair or dust bunnies. after we do the dry we can just wait another day or do the wet next. the Wet is nice since it's an easy way to clean floors or messes your kids make. i recommend this to anyone with hardwood floors works wonders. And wood stairs, now my kids can help me with the stairs when they go up the can wipe them with the dry wipes with their hands they don't need the stick . great product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the Swiffer Sweeper. It's great for spot cleaning but not appropriate for deep cleaning jobs. I have a fairly large kitchen and the wet pad didn't retain as much moisture as it should have. The directions were not clear I felt awkward when affixing the cloths to the mop head. It actually stabbed my fingers a bit when trying to push the corners into the hole. The scrubbing strip was too small to make much of a difference. The sweeping cloth was surprisingly good! I was able to pick up more dirt than with normal sweeping, although I did have to follow up with a broom. I'm not sure if I would want to purchase this product unless changes are made to the way the cloths retain moisture and also attach to the head. A larger scrubbing cloth would also be helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper starter kit is really convenient. It's small enough to hang inside my hall closet so it's close at hand and has definitely helped me keep my kitchen cleaner (no small feat with 2 kids under 4). It's simple to change the clothes, both wet or dry, and very sanitary since you just throw the dirty ones away, although I usually get a few uses out of the dry ones! The only thing I do wish is that it were bigger. I find I still grab for my larger swiffer dry broom more often just because it's twice the coverage and thereore 1/2 the passes and saves me a bit of time. I absolutely feel better about the kids crawling around on the kitchen floor knowing it's cleaner since I'm able to run the wet swiffer more now, every few days, since it's way less of a hassle than brigning out the mop and bucket or filling up the sink with cleaner. The scrubber part of the cloth is very useful too for easily removing sticky globs or smushed food and the scent isn't overwhelming so I can clean while the kids are running around me. Make the head of the swiffer wider and this product would be perfection!

Although the product may be what I "needed"- what I don't need is to spend money constantly replacing the sweepers because it fails to hold the cloths! It is so frustrating. URGH!!! I'm just about ready to go back to using a regular mop and bucket it's cheaper than replacing these sweepers. The last one I purchased (approximately 1 month ago) has already lost its grip and I haven't used it more than three times! Did I say it already? URGH!!!! Tell me Swiffer people is it me or is it your product?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested out the wet Swiffer mop on my 4 bathroom floors and was pleasantly surprised at how well it held up! After scrubbing 4 different floors, the pad was still wet and I felt like I could have cleaned an additional floor. I really liked the subtle clean smell. It wasn't too overpowering, just pleasant. The pad stayed on the mop fairly well, my only complaint is that it came off with vigorous scrubbing. The swivel design of the mop head allows it to get into some of the smallest spaces. It did a great job mopping the hard-to-reach areas around the toilet. I tested out the dry Swiffer on all my air vents and was also pleasantly surprised at how durable it is and how it is able hold dust without spilling it all over. Overall, I am very happy.
