[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I had hoped the Swiffer would be a little more useful than it is. As a person who walks a lot in all weather, and has two large dogs, it is rare that my laminate florring suffers a mishap small enough for the Swiffer to be able to deal with it. And even on those occasions unwrapping and applying the little towelette thing takes longer than just grabbing my trusty old mop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer dry +wet mop was really easy to use. The pieces snaped together quickly. The mop did a nice job of cleaning my kitchen floor, hallway, and entry space. Cleaning was easy and efficient on multiple surfaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The floor sweeper mop is similar to what I've used before for the dry clothes. However, the wet pads do not stay in the designed holder s during regular use. I prefer the Velcro pads from previous wet jets. They cling much better to the mop than this product. For regular dry dusting on hardwood floors using the the dry cloth pads, they work fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used our Swiffer twice before deciding it isn't right for us. It does gather a lot of dust, but leaves dirt and other things on the floor. We have better luck with a regular mop on our floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has loved using Swiffer products for many years, but this is the first time I've gotten to own one myself. It feels so much sturdier than the one we have now. While I was home for Thanksgiving, I was able to use it to pick up an absurd amount of dog fur from hardwood and linoleum tile floors. I had the unit assembled before it'd been out of the box for five minutes (even with puppy "help"!). The only thing easier than putting it together was taking it back apart to fit it into my car for the drive home. Then I reassembled it and used another pad on the floor of my dorm room. The floor didn't *look* dirty, but boy it must've been given how much dirt and hair the pad picked up. That's just how great Swiffer is-- it picks up dirt you don't even know is there!

I sweep with a traditional broom, get up all the big bits, and then follow with the swiffer and get all the tiny bits my normal broom leaves behind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit is one of the best products I've tried in a while. I love how I received both a dry floor swifter and a wet floor swifter pad with the mop. We recently added a puppy to our family, so our wood floors are always showing cute puppy paw prints. Not so cute when you are the one cleaning the floor! I love how I can put the dry pad on the Swiffer and sweep away all the hair, dust and debris. Then; put a wet pad on the Swiffer and make my hardwoods look shiny and new! My floors have never looked so great! I've used the Swiffer on my tile in my kitchen area as well and it does a great job getting the tile clean! I'm loving this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good sweeper for light cleaning of hard floors to take up dust, dirt, etc., especially for keeping things clean between more thorough cleanings. The wet pads are not the best; a conventional mop or powered Swiffer would probably be better for wet messes. This sweeper definitely functions better as a dry sweeper. Overall, a good product to have around the house to keep floors from getting too dirty from day-to-day.

I love the versatility of this product because I can use it when I just need to sweep up the floor or when I need to mop up a spill. It even makes it easier when you need to sweep them mop all with one product. The wet cloths smell so great and leave my house looking so clean! The setup was so easy and storage is a breeze! Overall I'm so so pleased with my Swiffer Sweeper!! I would recommend this to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings on the wet cloths in this kit. Overall, I think it's really convenient to have them on hand to quickly clean up something you've just spilled, but they're not very effective on dried, sticky messes or dirt that's accumulated over time. Although the scrubbing edge does help a little with these tougher messes, I found that it's hard to get the mop head to stay at the correct angle in order to actually scrub at the floor. They performed fairly well when used to clean up the juice I spilled on the ceramic tile in my kitchen, but they don't seem to stay wet for very long. I felt like I could only clean up a small area before the moisture was gone and I needed to change to a new cloth. All in all, they're good for quick clean ups, but no better than a wet paper towel, in my experience. The dry cloths, on the other hand, are outstanding. I can't believe I've gone this long without these in my life! With a cat, a dog, and mostly hardwood floors, I normally have to use a stick vacuum every evening to pick up the dustballs that accumulate during the day. I thought that this was enough, but when I used the Swiffer, I realized that I've literally never cleaned under my furniture since the day I moved in! While the vacuum is way too big to fit under anything, the Swiffer effortlessly glides under even the lowest furniture to pick up all of the dust and hair that's been hiding back there for years. I honestly couldn't believe how much dust was on the cloth when I was done... I was horrified! The best part is, though, that even with all of that dust on there, I could still just fold up the cloth and use it to dust more delicate areas by hand. They actually do attract dust like a magnet - which means that I could easily grab the hard-to-reach dust bunnies behind my computer screen and clean my the blades of my ceiling fan without getting a face full of dust! They're also really gentle, so I could clean my new TV screen without worrying about scratching it. All in all, I'm not sure I'll be buying the wet cloths in the future, but you better believe I'll have at least 2 boxes of the dry cloths on hand at all times.
