I didn't grow angry or beg the gods 'why.' For lo, in my possession was the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit, which cleansed my mess with the greatest of ease. My day was not ruined, and my life was quite possibly saved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really come to appreciate my new Swiffer. I recently installed laminate flooring, which looks great but tends to accumulate dust quickly. The Swiffer is an easy solution to that problem. Whenever I see a bit of dust I can just grab the Swiffer and give the area a quick clean. It really makes cleaning so easy. I also appreciate how it can easily go between rooms with laminate and rooms with tile, and clean both just as well. The wet and dry options are also appreciated as sometimes you really need the extra cleaning power that I find the wet cloths have. Of course the best part of the Swiffer is that you just throw the dirty pads away, making cleanup a breeze. And with the Swiffer being such a slim profile it is easy to store away almost anywhere when you are done using it. Overall my wife and I both really appreciate the Swiffer and plan on continuing to use it, as it really is a great cleaning option.

I was so impressed with how easy it was to clean. We both swiffered the floor and it not only did a great job but it was fun. My husband actually steam mopped the floor the day before so we were both SHOCKED when our swimmer pad was covered in dirt. 5 stars from this momma!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Swiffer. I am a smidge crazy about my cleaning routines, and Swiffer makes it so much easier. I sweep with a traditional broom, get up all the big bits, and then follow with the swiffer and get all the tiny bits my normal broom leaves behind.

When you don't feel like breaking out your vacuum and you see "stuff" on your kitchen floor or hair on bathroom floor you can attach a Swiffer cloth to the Swiffer and pick up all the "stuff" and hair. Simply use a quick sweeping motion and voila the stuff/hair quickly adheres to the Swiffer cloth. Once you're done all you need to do is remove the cloth and dump it in the trash can. It's an easy no fuss, no muss way to clean your floors quickly! Love the fact they have the dry Swiffer cloths and the wet Swiffer cloths to help remove messes on your floors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy to use the swiffer kit is. It came in a box with the swiffer sweeper push tool, 7 dry cloths and 3 wet cloths. I like that I'm able to try the dry and wet cloths before I buy large quantities of them. After taking a minute to snap the tool together I used the dry pads on my laminate floor. I liked that it mostly got under my entry table ( I had to manipulate it a bit to get all the way under). With 2 large indoor dogs and 2 young children ease of use is huge in our household. The swiffer dry cloths attracted a lot of dirt and pet hair. My kids also loved getting to help clean which is a huge win. I'm excited to try the wet cloths :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can only give the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit an average rating because unlike on the TV ads that you see for it I wouldn't use this for more than a spot cleaning it didn't work as well as they make it seem like on TV. With one dog and one cat in the house it left plenty of dog and cat hairs on the floors along with bigger dirt particles. I had to go over the floors again with the good ol' broom & dustpan before I could attempt to use the mopping pad. That worked OK but dried out quickly and one corner kept coming out of the little push-in tab holder. Once again I had go back over the floors with the good ol' trusty mop to finish the job.

The minute I got it I put it together, doesn't get any easier than just twisting the handle together and start using it. I was almost a little embarrassed about how much dirt came up on my kitchen floor, I thought it was clean but boy I was definitely wrong. I will be using this product daily if not once twice a day. I LOVE It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try the Swiffer Dry + Wet in several different rooms and floor surfaces throughout my house to see where it would be the most effective. The first area that I used the dry cloths on was the hardwood floors in the kitchen, hallway and half-bath. The dry cloth did a great job picking up hair and dust that was on the ground but I found that, in the kitchen where there are bigger particles on the ground (i.e. crumbs) , I still had a small pile of debris to sweep up after I used the dry cloth. Since I have a toddler who is constantly throwing food on the ground, I don't think I would use the Swiffer dry cloths in my kitchen and would just stick with a normal broom. The next area that I used a dry cloth in was the vinyl floor in the master bathroom, guest bathroom and laundry room. I have very long hair and there is always hair on the floor in the bathroom but the Swiffer did an excellent job at picking up of the hair. I could literally see the hair being pulled toward the Swiffer while I was sweeping. The dry cloth of the Swiffer is a great option for bathrooms and other rooms that may have a lot of hair on the floor. If I had a pet that shed, the Swiffer dry cloth would be a must. I didn't use the wet cloths on my hardwood floors but I did try it out on all of the vinyl flooring. When I first got the wet cloth out, it was extremely wet and got liquid everywhere. The scent, however, was great, especially for a kitchen or bathroom. I tried using one wipe for three rooms (two bathrooms and a laundry room). The wipe was not very wet by the time I got to the third room but I still believe it was cleaning the surface effectively. Overall, I found that the Swiffer Dry + Wet is a great option for use in bathrooms and rooms where there are pets that shed. I would not recommend it for kitchens, however, where there is often bigger debris and crumbs found on the ground.
