Swiffer makes cleaning my kitchen a breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scrubbing my floor used to be a chore. But since I got the Swiffer Sweeper base starter kit it has become very easy. First I put the dry cloth on and dust the floor. The pad really picks up the light fluffy tufts of cat fur, but also gets the grime on the floor also. When that is completed, just remove and throw away. Then attach a wet cloth (pad). What a breeze, the head is short enough to get under the edge of my stove, my fridge and the small space between.

Swiffer is a trusty classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using a Swiffer dry sweeper, and think it's great to have in any home with hard floors. It has its place alongside the broom and the vacuum, but it doesn't take the place of either in my opinion. (Just like the wet mop doesn't take the place of a mop, but is pretty darn useful). I got my first Swiffer about 20 year ago in college to keep my linoleum dorm floors dust bunny free. It worked great to get under the bed and other furniture. I learned then, and not much has changed as the nifty tool has gone through a few upgrades, that you still also need a broom and a dustpan. The Swiffer's main job is to pick up hair and dust, and it does that job better than any broom or vacuum. But the crumbs and the little pieces of paper aren't going anywhere - you can sweep them into a pile, but they just don't stick to the Swiffer cloth. No biggie, but there you have it. The wet mop is awesome for a quick job in a medium sized room. We use them constantly at the tutoring center where I volunteer - every day when we clean up, we sweep and then wet Swiffer the small apartment where we provide our services. It's linoleum throughout, and the wet Swiffer does great to get any spills or tracked in grime from the kids' shoes. For the approximately 1,000 square foot apartment, all linoleum, we use about 3 cloths. It's quick, it's easy, it's mostly effective, and anyone can do it. I appreciate the Swiffer brand for the convenience it adds to my life!

LOVE my Swiffer kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer kit is awesome!! When you don't feel like breaking out your vacuum and you see "stuff" on your kitchen floor or hair on bathroom floor you can attach a Swiffer cloth to the Swiffer and pick up all the "stuff" and hair. Simply use a quick sweeping motion and voila the stuff/hair quickly adheres to the Swiffer cloth. Once you're done all you need to do is remove the cloth and dump it in the trash can. It's an easy no fuss, no muss way to clean your floors quickly! Love the fact they have the dry Swiffer cloths and the wet Swiffer cloths to help remove messes on your floors!

Xmas Party clean up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this product to clean our house prior to hosting this year's family Christmas dinner for 9 people. The Swifter made it easier to clean the hardwood floor and window sills. During the party, of course the kids made a mess from dinner. In addition to Christmas we were also celebrating my mother's birthday. We needed to do a spot clean so the floor around the table was clean before bringing the cake. We used the Swifter to quickly clean up the debris on the ground. The guests were all very impressed at how quickly we were able to clean the hardwood floor and the kitchen floor. The included wipes quickly sweeped the debris.

Using the Swiffer Sweeper Kit Reloaded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 5 maybe even 10 years ago (who's counting, right?), back when the first Swiffers hit the market, I used the Swiffer Sweeper every week. It was my go to floor cleaning device right after the vacuum. I thought it was convenient and easy to use - coming from someone who is not talented with cleaning products. Little anecdote: I washed my laundry with dishwasher tabs until my boyfriend pointed out that I had the wrong tabs. By then I was already a good 4-6weeks in. But back to Swiffer: I got the broom out, the box with wet sweepers, pushed them into the flat piece and off I went. I was done quickly and was happy. Then I moved into a bigger place and realized that I needed multiple sweepers to get everything cleaned. I did that for a few weeks until it got too expensive. That was the end of my Swiffer journey. Up until recently when I decided to give it another chance. I received the Base Starter Kit and a feeling of nastalgia overwhelmed me but in better. The broom looks prettier with its ergonomic handle. The flat end piece is cushioned which makes it easier to apply pressure for difficult spots. The wet Sweepers still attach with a press of the finger and still drip a little when you get them out of the box. I started cleaning, all excited and keeping my fingers crossed that the sweepers would last longer than they used to. My kitchen floors were shiny after sweeping through. Dried quickly - don't step on it too early or it will feel sticky on your feet - but.....the range was them same... I had to get a fresh sweeper for the dining room and another one for the stairs and entrance. Slowly a bit of disappointment washed over me. My main area of concern had stayed the same... It was still super easy to navigate through narrow areas - better than it used to be thanks to the improvements in the lower part. It also still cleaned very well while the sweeper was wet and it was still easy to attach the sweeper and get started. It was also very comfortable to hold and store away but but but...I wish it stayed moist longer and that I could cover more floor before having to change the sweeper. So it's only 4 out of 5 stars for me.

I'm impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try the dry mop first, since we have two dogs that shed a little. I have used Swiffer in the past, but have never used the dry/wet mop so I was excited to try it. The Swiffer was easy to assemble and place the pads on. Then all you need to do is sweep! The proof of how exceptional this dry cloth is shows in the before and after! I am very impressed.

Swiffer works great for small spaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first used my swiffer, I intended to mop my the entire tile floor of my great room. After having to change the pads too quickly, (I used two on 3/4s of the room, it would've taken me three to do the whole room) I realized these are best for smaller jobs. For example, I used the swiffer to clean the area around my dogs' food dishes. It worked well for the nooks and tight corners. I also found it was a great way to dust around the baseboards. It handled well to be able to do that.

My daily go to cleaning product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper is awesome! Just put the handle together in seconds and I was ready to put on a mopping pad and start cleaning. I put this sweeper through heavy use as I have hardwood floors in living areas and laminate in kitchen and bathrooms. I start by using the dusting cloth to get all the pet hair and dust and then I use a wet cloth to pick up the dirt and it leaves a fresh smell and shine. It's light enough that my toddler loves mopping with it but is built sturdy so I'm not afraid to put a heavier hand when necessary on the harder dirt spots. I also have found the sweeper to be useful in wiping down my tub walls and ceiling. The wet pads work perfectly to clean the walls and ceiling and the adjustable handle makes it easy to reach spots over my head. I love this sweeper!

Decent but not Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have deep dark wood floors, everything shows! The swiffer sweeper that was provided did good but the sheets do not last very long. Once they collect a lot of dog hair, dirt, I find I have to scrub very hard to get it to clean the floor. It did well for a high over view of the floor, but I had to go back with a spray to keep the pad moist to continue to clean and push hard for it to get a good clean.

Love Swiffer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of Swiffer! We have a dog who sheds A LOT and a toddler, so I'm constantly cleaning the kitchen floor. First, I use the dry cloth to pick up as much fur as possible, and then I use the wet cloth to get the rest and clean the toddler's most recent mess. The dry cloths work by static, so they are really good at pickup up fur and dust. The wet ones have a scrubber edge which is amazing for getting up sticky spots and dried food. My favorite part of using a Swiffer versus a broom is that I don't have to bend down to use a dustpan. I just sweep, drop the dirty dry cloth in the trash, scrub, and then drop the dirty wet cloth in the trash! Granted, these won't clean up Cheerios that have spilled on the floor, but that's what the dog is for!!
