Va Va Vanilla smells great and worked-but only for a short amount of time. I originally wrote it a good review, but since it stopped keeping me dry my opinion has changed. I threw it away, and returned the 2 other scent expressions I bought, and switched to another brand.

I've been using Va Va vanilla forever and then Bam! One day its just Gone?!? Tried the new vanilla one its terrible not even comparable. What was wrong with the original?? Why change something so perfect? Especially to something not even on the same level? I get new packaging for sales and what not, but why mess with the formula... I would not recommend, and I for one will never use Secret again unless Va Va vanilla makes a comeback. I will tell all and everyone, even strangers in the deodorant aisle how disappointing Secret is for this inconvenience that is purely nonsensical.

I LOVED secret deodorant, it went on great (no deodorant marks on clothes), stayed all day and smelled awesome! Unfortunately I can no longer use it due to medical reasons, I have to find a new deodorant that does NOT have Aluminum chlorohydrate. It's disappointing that Secret does not have a deodorant without that ingredient.

So, although this website states that this is Secret's "original tried and trusted formula," Secret has actually changed the ingredients (and I should also note that they are different than what appears on this very website). I have used the Powder Fresh since I was in middle school - 30 years later, the formula has changed and I can no longer use it. The new formula has the following new ingredients: mineral oil, PPG-14 butyl ether, and petrolatum. The texture of the new product is less dry, and feels kind of like lotion under your arms (and not in a good way). By far, the worst change is the different fragrance. As others have mentioned, there used to be just a subtle baby powder smell - now it is overwhelming, cloying, and chemical-y. Procter & Gamble should really consider that people have allergies, and a such a huge change in formulation should be clearly noted on the bottle.

I've only used Secret Fresh for many years now, citrus scent. The Hawaii Citrus was the best version. I recently got the new citrus formula and I'm thoroughly disappointed. It has a much harder dryer consistency, the smell doesn't last for more than an hour, and within a few hours it feels as if I have no deodorant under my armpits and it no longer keeps away body odor. This is the worst iteration of this product so far.

I've used the lavender scent for so long and loved it. I bought a new one and it smelled horrible, I'm sensitive to scents and this new scent gives me migraines. It smells like the original fresh, which also gives me migraines. I thought maybe it was a mislabeled container, so I threw it away and got two new ones from my mom who had bought lavender instead of berry, which is what she uses and gives me headaches along with the mango scent. These two new ones were the same scent that I loved. Those two just ran out so I bought a new one and again HORRIBLE!!! I decided to google to see if it really did change and it did, and people HATE it just as much as I do I seems. PEASE BRING BACK THE OLD OH LA LA LAVENDER scent. PLEASE!!! I love the formula, it's a great product that keeps me dry and used to keep me smelling great. It was also the only scent in the line that doesn't trigger my migraines.

I would luv to try more of your products.it keeps you dry and the smell of lavender is wonderful all day long. I used the original secret for mor than 50 years,and I loved it then. I got my god daughters hooked on it as well and co workers. Secret is the bomb it dosent break you out but keeps you dry while the clock keeps ticking.

This deodorant is amazing! I tried it on a whim after using clinical deodorants for many years. I thought I wouldn't be able to use regular deodorant anymore. That has now changed! I love this stuff! It works extremely well and it smells wonderful. Thanks, Secret!!!

Something has changed with the fomulation of my favorite Secret deodrant. I've used it for more years than I can count and was always well protected for wetness and odor. All of a sudden, it doesn't work anymore. It feels as though I have no deodorant on at all. I had to reapply it several times a day and still felt self conscious about odor and wetness. I moved on to Secret Outlast unscented, but it is very hard to find and expensive. I have gone back to my regular Secret from time to time, but with the same unprotected results. Please consider changing back to the former formula! Thanks.

I have been using this product for 25 years and suddenly they have a new formula and now I stink all the time. I guess this is the push I needed to detox from this toxic product and use a more natural product. For anyone else trying this, benonite clay and ACV mask on the pits will help draw out the toxins. It will get worse before it gets better. Cheers
