I love Dawn, it is definitely a grease cutter. However, since it first came out, they (company) have diluted it to where you need to use more. Still one of the best to get grease stains out of clothes and gets the grease off your dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn Platinum is one of the best dish soaps I've used. It cuts through grease quickly with very little product, leaves dishes sparkling clean, and rinses off easily without any residue.

Had this product shipped to my house. The lid is usually taped shut for shipment. It was not this time. arrived open with the interior of the box and all products in the box covered in soap. Submitting a return is more trouble than it is worth so I guess this is a lesson learned.

I have always used Dawn dishwashing soap - platinum or otherwise. I typically wash my pots and pans by hand and the suds always seem to last through the round of washing and Dawn does seem to cut the grease well. That said, with the most recent purchase of Dawn, I could not figure out what smelled so badly. Then, I looked at the bottle and saw that I had purchased “Fresh Rain” scent by mistake. It smells like chemicals and I feel like I need to rewash my dishes to get the “Fresh Rain” off of them. No one wants their dishes to smell like laundry detergent!! Can’t wait to get to the store and purchase another dish soap. The “Fresh Rain” scent is going in the trash.

Please bring back Dawn Platinum Foam dish soap. It was the best product you had. I've tried other Dawn dish soaps and they are just not as good. I'm so disappointed that you decided to discontinue the BEST product you had. Your consumers have expressed their disappointment in you taking this product off the shelves. Bring it back!! I will use another name brand dish soap until it's returned to the shelves!! BRING BACK DAWN PLATINUM FOAM DISH SOAP!!
