I love this dish soap. It always gets everything clean, and it makes it easy. If I think something needs to soak, I put a drop or two in the pan, put some water in it, and in no time, I can just wipe it out as clean as can be. Actually very seldom do I feel like I have to soak anything as things are easy to wash shortly after I put them in the water. There is almost no scrubbing of anything. It is the only dish soap I buy and I also use it if there is any item of clothing with grease on it, this takes it right out.

Good product a little goes along way. On my last order shipped the container was not properly closed and a spill over happened. The mail lady said it messed up other mail my paper towels also arrived soapy. This needs to be sealed better before shipping.

The new scent is terrible. When my husband first used it, I checked the garbage to ensure there was no rotting fruit in it. The new scent is nauseating and gives me a headache. I am so disappointed. I’ve been a loyal user for decades. I can no longer have this product in my home, much less use it.

Literally going to have to return it and find a new soap I guess. I've used dawn and platinum even for a long time. Picked up a new bottle at Sam's and it literally smells like a BAD field of flowers and is so overwhelming you cannot get it off your hands, you smell it everywhere and you can TASTE the smell on everything 🤢🤮

Without a doubt the best grease cutter cleaner I've used. Get this on your car rims nice and drippy walk away for 5 to 10 mins, dont let it dry, and power wash off without scrubbing. Very clear time saving results. I have a design issue with the spray bottle type BUT once that is fixed the formula in that bottle is my main kitchen and rim grease cutter cleaner!!

This Dawn "Platinum 4X MORE" is a joke! Supposed to be better than regular Dawn, but it is a watered down version! I think the 4X means that you will use 4 times as much as regular Dawn. I find myself having to add more all the time while doing dishes! It is weaker and my hands feel greasy using it, like I can never get enough of it to not feel greasy! Ugh!

The new scent in Platinum Dawn is appalling. I have used Dawn for years and I simply CANNOT tolerate the smell! After searching the internet the reviews are overwhelmingly negative. I don’t know if my Voice will be added to the outcry. PLEASE change the formula back to the original. I have to throw out a gallon bottle because it leaves an awful smell on things washed in it for days!

I cook everyday and have never wanted a dishwasher. Have been married for 50 years. Dawn Platinum is without a doubt the best dish detergent I have ever used! There is very little scrubbing needed when it is used and I use it for so many other cleaning jobs....jewelry, house cleaning and laundry spots also. Thank you, thank you for making this product available. It makes this great grand mother's life so much easier.

I recently bopped into Sam's and picked up a bottle of Dawn, without noticing that it was different ("Platinum 4xPower". It only took me opening it and pouring a little into my sink to be overcome by the horrible perfume-y fragrance. Upon the assault to my nostrils, I jerked the bottle up and saw that it wasn't my regular Dawn, but this "Dawn Platinum". I am very sensitive to fragrance, due to allergies. Why on earth would you change a product that has been tried and true for so many years? I was unable to use it and had to pass on my expensive 90 oz bottle to my sister-in-law (who does not have allergies). You have lost a longtime loyal customer, due to your decision to sell perfume instead of dish soap! If I could give it zero stars, I would!

The smell is VERY overpowering. I washed my pan and put it on the stovetop to start cooking and noticed a STRONG smell. I realized it was the smell of the dawn soap and my whole kitchen reeked of it. I’m sorry but I do not want to smell dawn soap while I’m cooking. It just makes me feel like it’s getting on my food too. Fortunately Walmart still sells the original in the big size so I’ll be sticking to that.
