Had this product shipped to my house. The lid is usually taped shut for shipment. It was not this time. arrived open with the interior of the box and all products in the box covered in soap. Submitting a return is more trouble than it is worth so I guess this is a lesson learned.

I have always used Dawn dishwashing soap - platinum or otherwise. I typically wash my pots and pans by hand and the suds always seem to last through the round of washing and Dawn does seem to cut the grease well. That said, with the most recent purchase of Dawn, I could not figure out what smelled so badly. Then, I looked at the bottle and saw that I had purchased “Fresh Rain” scent by mistake. It smells like chemicals and I feel like I need to rewash my dishes to get the “Fresh Rain” off of them. No one wants their dishes to smell like laundry detergent!! Can’t wait to get to the store and purchase another dish soap. The “Fresh Rain” scent is going in the trash.

You only need a small drop and it starts breaking everything down right away. I've used it on regular dishes, greasy pans, random kitchen mess, and it gets the job done without me standing there scrubbing forever. The bubbles last too, which I appreciate because I hate having to keep adding more soap. And it rinses clean - no weird film or anything like that. It's just one of those basic things that actually does what it says, so I keep it stocked in my kitchen. ⭐ Definitely one of my go-to cleaning staples.

Dawn Platinum is hands down the best dish soap I've ever used. It cuts through grease instantly, even on stuck-on food, without needing a ton of product. The Fresh Rain scent is clean and light, not overpowering, and the EZ-Squeeze bottle is so convenient - no mess, no flipping the bottle over. Super effective, easy to use, and definitely a kitchen staple.

Dawn doesn't do commercials anymore about cleaning up wildlife. The younger generation is being fooled with Dawn Platinum. This is a diluted version of the original Dawn your Mom used to cut grease immediately. I have been using Dawn dish soap for 50 years and I asked my AI assistant why Dawn wasn't cleaning like it used to? Diluted! They want everyone to buy PLATINUM Dawn to get the original Dawn grease cutting. So when I run out of this diluted Dawn, I am buying the Members Mark Dish soap.
