I have always used Dawn dishwashing soap - platinum or otherwise. I typically wash my pots and pans by hand and the suds always seem to last through the round of washing and Dawn does seem to cut the grease well. That said, with the most recent purchase of Dawn, I could not figure out what smelled so badly. Then, I looked at the bottle and saw that I had purchased “Fresh Rain” scent by mistake. It smells like chemicals and I feel like I need to rewash my dishes to get the “Fresh Rain” off of them. No one wants their dishes to smell like laundry detergent!! Can’t wait to get to the store and purchase another dish soap. The “Fresh Rain” scent is going in the trash.

It's got the classic Dawn undertones with a cool refreshing rain scent. The soap itself works through grime and grease with ease as usual. And I love the jug for easy bottle refills! It's got a pour spout that works perfectly and doesn't drip or leak everywhere while refilling.

The soap is a little runny, but that's a small minus. The smell is not harsh, just normal. But I always wash dishes with gloves, because dish soap really dries out my skin, including this one. But honestly that's all dish soaps, otherwise they wouldn't be able to clean dried food and coffee and tea stains from cups so well 🤣 right? So overall it's a great soap for a good price. This bottle will last me a very long time, because the size of this bottle replaces 4 small ones) and that saves my time

I love that I can get this liquid in a refillable jug since I utilize a dispenser affixed to my sink. Dawn platinum is so strong on grease but gentle on your hands. Grease doesn't stand a chance against it. The bottle is huge 68 oz so I can easily fill 5 13 ounce bottles. The bottle is very strong and has a nice size spout to refill bottles. Dawn platinum helps remove up to 90 percent of grease and food residue. The fresh scent smell so very good. I can even you the Dawn dish soap on my puppy when he needs a bath. I love this stuff. I highly recommend it anyone.
