We want to make sure you're referring to the correct dish soap, as there's been no scent change for Refreshing Rain. The only change that's occurred regarding this soap, since 2022, is the name of the scent. We dropped the "Re" and kept the rest, naming it, "Fresh Rain". Whichever dish soap you purchased, please be assured that we thoroughly test all of our ingredients for safety before we use them in a product, and this is not something we would expect. Your kitchen should be sparkling, and your nose shouldn't be bothered, when using Dawn Platinum Dishwashing Liquid, with Refreshing Rain scent to clean your dishes. In February, 2022, the formula was updated to dissolve and clean grease and tough, cooked-on messes four times faster than non-concentrated Dawn.
