I have alway used Dawn dish soap. I’ve been buying the platinum refreshing rain scent for a long time and loved the way it USED to smell. Now you have completely changed the scent of the refreshing rain. It smells so awful that I had to throw it away. Don’t give a response of oh we are sorry you don’t like the increases perfume smell. It’s not a problem with increased perfume smell. It’s that you completely changed the scent. Who decided this was a great idea???? Please, please change the scent back. Until you do, I won’t be buying your product. I will change to another brand. I’m so unhappy.

Used this dish soap since it was released I have tried several others hoping to find a cheaper alternative that worked as well as this did I have not been lucky enough to find something cheaper. This is a good product but is fairly expensive when compared to other brands and other makes of dawn dish soap it would be nice if they made something that worked as well as this but was as cheap as say AJAX. I will continue looking but for now this is my go to dish soap.

I have very sensitive skin, and after using this once to clean my makeup sponges I am able to feel the irritation on the skin of my hands. And, oddly, even though it is supposed to have 4x the power, it didn't seem to clean my sponges as well as regular Dawn. I love Dawn and use it for many purposes, but I will not be buying the Platinum again ---- and please don't send it to anyone to be used for washing birds!

At one time this was a great product but changing the formula also changed the cleaning power. I have to use a lot more product in order to get my dishes and pans clean and non-greasy or I have to put the product directly onto a pan to cut the grease. I am looking into other brands to replace Dawn.

I have used this for years. I recently purchased a new bottle and was was immediately hit by this horrible odor...the bottle l Iisted the refreshing rain scent... NOTHING on the bottle listed NEW scent or formula. I am very disappointed because this soap works amazing, but I will need to find a new brand because I shouldn't want to gag while doing my dishes. Plus, you CANNOT get the smell off of your hands. Soooo Gross!

I just bought this dish soap and the smells is very unpleasant. A few years ago I was using a pink dawn scent that had the same bad odor. I gave it to my mom because she couldn’t smell it. I’m hoping this will help identify the scent that is offensive to some Of us and it can be identified so we know what to avoid in the future.

I’ve been using Dawn for years and find the new smell of Dawn Platinum utterly revolting. It’s a chemically perfumy odor that’s hard to rinse away and sticks on plastic. Please go back to using more scents from things we’d actually put on plates—lemons, oranges, mint—even spaghetti would smell better than Dawn Platinum.

I've been using Dawn for a very long time and I've never found it lacking to clean all my kitchen ware very well. I bake a lot of pastry and it always works perfectly on my heavy on the butter clean up. I recently bought a refill size Platinum 4x faster without paying attention to the "scent". The "refreshing rain scent" seems more appropriate for clothes washing, definitely not around the kitchen. In fact, it's off putting and competes with my labor-intensive baking. To be fair it still cleans just as well as before. Refill size is too expensive to throw away but too disappointing to ignore my dislike. Just thought you might like to know.

I have been using Dawn Platinum religiously for nearly a decade. It cleans the best hands down, then one day I buy a new bottle of fresh rain scent and you know what, it smells completely terrible. So bad that it actually makes me feel ill. Then I try other scents hoping to still be able to use it. Lemon, terrible! Jasmine, less so but still terrible! I finally found one scent (Green Papaya) that was ok and I could handle. Now I can't find it anywhere, so I came here just to find you don't list that scent anymore as it must have been discontinued. Why? Who knows but now I'm stuck with the terrible scents and it appears I am not alone. If you can handle the assault on your nasal cavity then I would recommend it, but give it a sniff at the store because for most people I know we've stopped using it because it smells so bad.

Ah! The power of dawn compells me ! There is nothing else like dawn ! It never fails me ! It is wonderful i love love love this stuff ! Hell i even use this to wash my car! I mean serious its tough enough to wash the grease and grime off my car and gentle enough to use on china what else could you ever desire in a dish wash? And its super concetrated so a tiny bit last forever ! Its a must buy! Dont waste your money on any other dish soap!
