I thought the terrible smell was from the food caked onto the dishes, not the soap itself. I've loved Dawn products and used them constantly for many years but the Fresh Rain scent smells like mildew and rot. It makes me nauseous to use. Despite the unfortunate scent, the product works well and reduces scrubbing time, but I can't in good faith recommend this particular scent to anyone I care about.

I've been using this big jug to refill my regular dawn bottle and it has lasted me a while now. The scent is subtle and not overwhelming at all which is what i'd want for my dishes.
