Most toothpaste and rinse products are designed to remove surface stains, also known as extrinsic stains. However, some stains can become trapped beneath the enamel surface, referred to as intrinsic stains. We recommend our Crest Whitestrips products, as the peroxide penetrates the enamel to effectively bleach these deeper stains. As a result, you can expect a more significant color change than what you would expect to get from using a whitening toothpaste or rinse.
