The cons for me are: the "longer length" really isn't and the absorbency pad needs to be as long as the outer cover. Maybe for a short person, the length would not be an issue. But I am 5' 10", and I find them on the short side. The Pro for me are that it comes with a plastic wrapper with a piece of tape on it for disposal. The only reason I checked "yes" for recommending this product to a friend, is that all of my friends are shorter than I am. And they might work perfectly for them.
