They absorb enough for light leakage. I like the packaging that allows you to carry these discreetly. I did find that although they are lightly scented, the scent was a little too strong for me and I also did not care for the scent. I would have preferred these to be unscented or another scent such as baby powder.

I have been using these pads for a couple of years. All of a sudden they have added a scent to all the liners. The scent caused itching to the point that I can no longer use this product. So disappointing.
