[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn dish spray actually works, ibwas very surprised by this. With items that have food baked on and stuck, just spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes and it will wipe right away. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell, it has very strong smell that really does not smell good at all.

In general, I love Dawn products. But, Dawn Powerwash, what an expensive waste. This product does little to make it easier to clean greasy pans. I could.wait forever to try to wipe out the dish or pan. I tried it with a variety of pans, food remnants, and wait times and was totally disappointed. The scent was also too strong and not what I appreciated around dishes.The best way to clean the greasy pans, etc. is a couple drops of Dawn Platinum and water then lightly scrub.

I've noticed the last few years that the effectiveness of Dawn Ultra has decreased. This is the same problem I have with Dawn Ultra Platinum Powerwash. It's easy to use and does foam up quite nicely, but as far as removing grease of any kind it's not very effective at all. It's terrible on plastic, have to heavily spray it 2 or 3 times. The same for glass & metal dishes. And usually have to go over that with a heavy dose of Dawn Ultra on a sponge to remove grease, or fat. Has P&G changed the formulation, or diluted it? Does anyone else have this problem, or noticed a decrease in quality? P&G may have formulated Dawn to clean petroleum oil off of baby ducks, but it sure as heck doesn't seem to be working well to remove kitchen grease.

My wife bought this a month (?) ago and I attached the refill after the pump failed to spray soap, hoping that would fix it. It still doesn't work, I'm back to washing dishes with the old soap, and my wife announced that product is on the do not purchase list.

Yesterday, I bought this product. While I was unpacking my groceries, I threw a pizza in the oven-UPSIDE DOWN!! All of the ingredients burned in my oven in a matter of seconds! I didn't have any oven cleaner, so I started panicking because I HATE cleaning ovens! I grabbed the spray and sprayed it on the oven door and the stuff started melting. I grabbed some towels and begin wiping! The oven door was clean! I sprayed the entire oven and cleaned it all in a matter of 20 minutes!

This product is totally amazing!!! i use as laundry spot cleaner, tough dish cleaner, pressure washing vinyl siding and my favor….spray on window screens then pressure wash. Makes the windows shine and dirt on the screens washes right away without removing them from windows! BAM two cleaning jobs done at once!!!!!

I had left a stainless steel pot unattended on the stove. The results were to the point I could not get the burned residue gone no matter what I tried. It has been about ten years since this happened. For some reason I never threw it out. A friend recommended Dawn Powerwash. I did not use water but just the spray and let it sit for a half hour. Gradually over about 20 treatments and a stainless steel scrubber I have my pot back just like new! Thank you P&G for this product.

I use this product on everything! It's my go to for stain removal on laundry, I spray it on dishes that I may not wash right away, I also used it to clean a grease spill on the deck from my grill!! It works great on all of those tasks! One thing I would change is the trigger. It seems to break easily. I squeeze the trigger but no product is released.

I really like the spray feature. When washing a greasy cookie sheet (from baking bacon in the oven) I’m able to direct the dawn to all areas of the pan. I hardly have to scrub at all, Dawn cuts the grease and leaves the pan squeaky clean. So much easier and faster clean up!

I would give this product more than 5 stars if I could. I have always loved the regular/original “blue” Dawn Powerwash, but I was apprehensive to use it too much because I questioned what exactly was in it? I mean it literally cuts through ANY type of grease or stains within just minutes. It’s certainly effective, there is no doubt about it. It’s like a breakthrough in tough grease/stain removal! Now that they came out with the free and clear version, i feel so much more comfortable using it on our dishes and for stains in our clothes. As you can clearly see, the bottle is almost empty so I use this stuff daily. I consider this an absolute household must have!
