I love Dawn and their products. I was so excited about the Powerwash because I live in a small kitchette and wanted to find something to clean my dishes and cups quickly. What a surprise. Powerwash was not what they promoted. Left grease in tupperware. I had to wash dishes many times. I bought 3 bottles. When they are used up I am going back to my liquid DAWN.

I sprayed it on a greasy pan left it for 5 minutes and bam all the grease and grime washed away with out having to go back over it multiple times! The dishes got icky and slimy from a deep fried dinner and bam this stuff cleaned them with out hesitation!

I purchased a set of Dawn Powerwash Spray and 3 refills because of the raves everyone was giving it all over social media, which in hindsight was probably the first red flag(never believe everything you hear on the Internet)! Also, I have used Dawn dish soap for at least 25 years, possibly longer and absolutely will never buy anything else because IT is a wonderful product that works better than expected! Sadly, Dawn Powerwash has given me multiple problems. The MOST aggravating one is the degree of difficulty in using the pump! The pump barely made it through 1/3 of the first bottle as well as being almost impossible to spray! The white part of the trigger is so soft, it merely bends inward and applies no force toward the neck of the bottle. I have tried numerous ways of holding it as I apply pressure, to very little resulting spray. I was a bench hand and a cake decorator for 40 years, so I am not a weak person, people remark on my nice, firm handshake. So I’ve been just using it on a sponge to lather up things and let them soak. I have tried it on skillets, my gas stove top, cookie sheets and even my bathtub floor that developed a stubborn watermark. Dawn Powerwash barely removed any of the greasy areas, unlike the dish soap which makes things sparkling clean-even chicken stock grease! The Powerwash gets everywhere(especially if I can coax any spray out of the pump) and just seems to linger no matter how many times I wipe and rinse. The scent of the Powerwash is vastly unpleasant and hangs around forever, unlike its cleaning power which is mostly absent. I tried respraying and soaking items again, almost in tears by now(angry tears!) because the spray pump is such a beast to use. And the results of the repetition? Non existent, even after 3 tries. I am not sensitive to strong smells or scents either, but this stuff...ick. Guess I’ll go back to Bar Keeper’s Friend, it works the first time I use it. And yes, I’m using the same Scotchbright scrubbie sponge and/or the flat green scrubbies with both products. So I’m definitely putting in the elbow grease. I might as well be using water. And water smells better too. I DO NOT recommend Dawn Powerwash at all. The dish soap however is fantastic-why is Powerwash so terrible?! I don't write reviews. Resisted buying for along time. Thinking it was just marketing hype. UMMM NOOOO! This stuff is amazing. It's convenient, sure, that's nice. However, it cleaned my stoves hood grease filters!!! I've tried everything. I can't be more amazed, happier or impressed.

This is the best product on the market for cleaning not only for dishes, but I have used this for several uses. I have sprayed it on stains in clothes before I put it in the washer. I have used i on carpet stains, stains on furniture I had burned meat in my Dutch oven the bottom was completely black I sprayed Dawn Power Spray on the bottom let it set rinsed and it came out like new. My dog urinated on my sofa sprayed Dawn Power Spray and no more urine odor.

Received some ornaments from my parents house. My father was a heavy smoker. Probably over 10 years since they were taken down and washed. I sprayed them with Dawn Power Wash and left them to soak for 10 minutes, than sprayed them. Could not believe how clean they came in that short period of time.

I cannot express how impressed I am with this product. My partner and I recently bought a home with a lot of nicotine damage, and this product has been a lifesaver! I had spent hours scrubbing window sills and our fridge with other products, and finally decided to try Dawn as the other products just weren’t working. Dawn powerwash cut my cleaning time and effort in half and made cleaning our new home so much easier. It cut through the nicotine and dirt so quickly and effortlessly. I also use it to clean our everyday dishes. Such a versatile product and one of the best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

I use this product on everything! It's my go to for stain removal on laundry, I spray it on dishes that I may not wash right away, I also used it to clean a grease spill on the deck from my grill!! It works great on all of those tasks! One thing I would change is the trigger. It seems to break easily. I squeeze the trigger but no product is released.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Dawn dish soap forever and then when Dawn Powerwash came out I used it for dishes. Then I had my kitchen remolded, and all my things including appliances were in storage for just about 1 year. When I got it back my thing looked really rough. I thought I was going to have to replace all of my appliances. I got out my bottle of Dawn Powerwash and started cleaning my oven first. I couldn't believe it. Dawn powerwash polished out all my stainless appliances. They look brand new again. Not one finger print, nothing at all. They looked so beautiful. Everyone asked me if I had got new appliances, I told them no just used a bottle of Dawn Powerwash on them. I will never again be without this product. I swear by 100%. Try what I did. It even polishes everything like brand new.

I love the idea of this & had brought 3. But no more until quality control fixes the pump mechanism. It's really bad. Hard to squeeze & I can't imagine older folks can use this product. By the time it reaches 2/3 it completely stops working, & waste all that soap !
