For years I could not get my shower glass enclosure clean from mineral stains and soap residue. Tried various commercial solutions and web based ideas. After reading how to use the Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray, I sprayed my shower glass. Let it stand for 10 minutes. I took a magic eraser and scrub the glass and frame. Big improvement after this. I then reapplied a spraying of the glass, let it stand for another 10 minutes scrubbing ng one more time. Results were amazing. Looked brand new. All the minerals deposit were removed as well as the soap scum. While using this product I kept the fan operating. Don’t change your formula on this product. I will find more uses in cleaning for it.

My first purchase of Dawn Powerwash didn’t start out very well. The easy snap cap/sprayer came open in the bag on the way home from the store, so I ended up with 1/4 bottle of the stuff. After cleaning up the mess in my car, the drops from the car to the kitchen and countertop and floor, needless to say, I was not impressed. However, I made chicken parm and marinara sauce in two separate pans and they cleaned up very easily as advertised. Dawn a power wash was redeemed!

I was told this could be used for stains on clothing and since the ads talk about how it can be used for other things, didn't think it would damage my items. Used on a bed pillow cover and left bleached spots. And of course, not able to find replacement pillow cover. This experience makes me wonder what else it will damage. Label needs to state what NOT to use on that could be bleached. And guess what - didn't take out the spots anyway!

I can not use this product due to its powerful scent added to it. The scent stays on my hands and takes a few washings to get the scent off.Why would you add this to dish detergent, we don’t need chemicals on our dishes , please stop this nonsense now.

I love Dawn and their products. I was so excited about the Powerwash because I live in a small kitchette and wanted to find something to clean my dishes and cups quickly. What a surprise. Powerwash was not what they promoted. Left grease in tupperware. I had to wash dishes many times. I bought 3 bottles. When they are used up I am going back to my liquid DAWN.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is almost impossible to remove the cap from the refill bottle. I am a senior and have some arthritis in my hands. I finally had to break the cap with a knife to remove it. It seems to me that seniors should be considered when designing the bottles.

Dawn Power Wash is THE BEST. I had stains on a shirt, treated, washed, dried...still stained. I used Dawn Power Wash then, and it all came out. I used Dawn Power Wash on some white dish rags that has been bleached many times and still stained...viola, they are stainless and white!!! Works GREAT on dishes too!!

I bought this and was using it on my dishes. I went to clean the ceiling fan in my kitchen and it had some grease I couldn’t get off! I used the Dawn power wash and it cleaned right off! I used it to clean the inside of my oven after some stuff spilled over and burned !

I purchased a set of Dawn Powerwash Spray and 3 refills because of the raves everyone was giving it all over social media, which in hindsight was probably the first red flag(never believe everything you hear on the Internet)! Also, I have used Dawn dish soap for at least 25 years, possibly longer and absolutely will never buy anything else because IT is a wonderful product that works better than expected! Sadly, Dawn Powerwash has given me multiple problems. The MOST aggravating one is the degree of difficulty in using the pump! The pump barely made it through 1/3 of the first bottle as well as being almost impossible to spray! The white part of the trigger is so soft, it merely bends inward and applies no force toward the neck of the bottle. I have tried numerous ways of holding it as I apply pressure, to very little resulting spray. I was a bench hand and a cake decorator for 40 years, so I am not a weak person, people remark on my nice, firm handshake. So I’ve been just using it on a sponge to lather up things and let them soak. I have tried it on skillets, my gas stove top, cookie sheets and even my bathtub floor that developed a stubborn watermark. Dawn Powerwash barely removed any of the greasy areas, unlike the dish soap which makes things sparkling clean-even chicken stock grease! The Powerwash gets everywhere(especially if I can coax any spray out of the pump) and just seems to linger no matter how many times I wipe and rinse. The scent of the Powerwash is vastly unpleasant and hangs around forever, unlike its cleaning power which is mostly absent. I tried respraying and soaking items again, almost in tears by now(angry tears!) because the spray pump is such a beast to use. And the results of the repetition? Non existent, even after 3 tries. I am not sensitive to strong smells or scents either, but this stuff...ick. Guess I’ll go back to Bar Keeper’s Friend, it works the first time I use it. And yes, I’m using the same Scotchbright scrubbie sponge and/or the flat green scrubbies with both products. So I’m definitely putting in the elbow grease. I might as well be using water. And water smells better too. I DO NOT recommend Dawn Powerwash at all. The dish soap however is fantastic-why is Powerwash so terrible?! I bought this specifically to clean chefs knives that never go into the dishwasher. I spray it on and leave it and then later wipe off dried garlic bits or cheese grime under running warm water. Could not be happier with the ease of use, or the results. I spilled some oil on the floor and then just wiped it up with this product. I could not be more thrilled with the product, or the price!! I actually have a stockpile, because I will be using it for life.
