This pasta sauce has a lovely flavor that everyone in the family enjoys with or without modifications. Sometimes I saute some garlic and onions, add a bit of fresh basil or thyme and throw in a parmesan rind (that I keep in the freezer for this purpose). I use this as a base sauce for lasagna, spaghetti, rigatoni, cannelloni and many other dishes. (I like to try new things, and have taste-tested every brand available but always come back to Ragu.)

I was so excited and happy when you reached out for me to try this pasta sauce. You can use it for a variety of things from mozzarella sticks to making spaghetti to making your own French bread pizza and I like that it has 40% of the daily vitamins from vegetables that you need. It’s got a nice mud flavor to it not over. Acidic will be definitely putting this to use tonight.

I gave Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce a try in a pinch and I am honestly blown away at how good it was. The sauce has a deep, rich flavor that doesn't taste overly sweet or fake. It had just the right amount of seasoning without being overpowering. The olive oil rounds everything out, giving the sauce a full-bodied taste. The texture was so convincing, that I almost forgot that it hadn't been simmering all day. My favorite part was the simple and recognizable ingredient list on the packaging. For the time saved and price, I consider it to be a great value. My child not only ate it, she devoured it. We will be making this a staple for weeknight quick meals.
