[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the taste was decent, it lacked a good texture, such as a full mouth feel. It was similar to just puréed tomatoes. Container was easy to open. This sauce can be spruced up with additional seasoning and diced tomatoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is pretty standard spaghetti sauce. It’s not super thick, or overly flavorful, but I feel like it’s a really solid beginning sauce. Personally I added some more garlic & herbs, and added some browned meat, and simmered it down for a while. Turned out great, and made a super easy meal!

When cooking spaghetti and other pasta dishes for the family, I prefer Ragu. The multi-pack provides me a nice supply to last a while for the two of us. Pasta with Ragu sauce provides an economical and delicious meal for us. By adding a salad and some bread, we are all set!

We get these to donate to our local pantry. They get a lot of pasta noodles donated, but not as many sauces since they only take cans or plastic jars. A lot of pasta sauces come in the breakable jars, but these are in plastic. Because they are larger sizes, families can get more than one meal out of them too. I grew up eating Ragu pasta sauces and know they are of good quality.

Good Spaghetti Sauce. I like to also toast english muffins, put a spoon of sauce on them and top with bell peppers, pepperoni, olives & Cheese. Put in the oven until the cheese melts and they make great mini pizza's. I have eight grandkids and they all love them as do the adults.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comes in a glass jar so the packaging is nice I don’t like my sauces in plastic containers personally just think it makes the sauces taste off.. but this sauce tastes good it’s just a basic traditional tasting pasta (red) sauce. It’s good and it’s affordable if you’re on a budget.

Prior to trying it, I was never really a Ragu fan as I preferred more of a homestyle flavor and I always found their original tomato sauce to be too sweet for my liking. This one, however, is completely different. It has a flavorful, robust taste that makes me think of traditional, homemade Italian marinara sauce. It smelled amazing when I was cooking with it and it tasted yummy when mixed in with pasta. Honestly, it was a bummer when the jar finished because it was absolutely delicious! After trying this sauce, I can honestly say I would start buying Ragu and recommend it to others.

The flavor is nice and comforting, though a bit on the watery and mild side. Next time I’ll add some extra seasoning and maybe thicken it up a bit, but it’s a solid and convenient sauce overall.
