We add a little bit of salt and pepper and maybe garlic and onion powder just because we like additional taste but we prefer Ragu still overall cause we think it’s the best.

Didn’t have to doctor it up at all, all the flavors were there, and didn’t even need to add Parmesan cheese, although more is always better. Not too sweet nor salty, enough garlicky as well. So it makes it good not only for a simple sphaghetti dish, but as a base for pizza, and just chunky enough to work into a meat sauce.

It does not have nearly the depth of flavor as better quality sauces but is half the price of my favorite brand. With a little extra seasoning added while simmering, it is not bad! However, it is a bit too sweet for my liking. I think they could lower the sugar content a bit. If you are looking to save money, it's a solid choice. I used it here to make a meat sauce with grated carrots and zucchini. The whole family enjoyed it!

The ingredients are great and the taste and texture is great on its own or mixed in a dish. The flavor is more reminiscent of homemade than other brands. I was given to this product, but will absolutely be purchasing in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ragu Old World Style sauce was probably the best Ragu brand sauce I’ve tried. I don’t like sweet spaghetti sauces. This one wasn’t sweet at all and had more of a salty/garlicky flavor. The whole family enjoyed it even my two picky eaters!
