For 21years, this has been the only pasta sauce I have been able to enjoy. I'll not get into the details, but this was once the only sauce I would ever eat, no matter what. All of that has changed since they changed the recipe. It leaves a really weird aftertaste and it's very unpleasant to eat it now. I'll never buy Ragu again if they don't have the original traditional again.

It is not to acidic and does not give my family heartburn like some other sauces. It is packaged in a glass container that allowed the flavor to be preserved.

Okay Ragu, have you finally realized most people do not like the new traditional sauce with olive oil? More people rate it as 1 star and I'm one of them. I really miss the old recipe and have not cooked pasta since you made the change. PLEASE bring back the old recipe that so many of your customers miss!

I tasted it on its own before adding anything to it, and it wouldn’t be my first choice for a quick sauce. Flavor was lacking overall so I added a bunch of things to round the taste out. I also had to thicken it because it’s too thin for my liking. I think this sauce will do well as the base for a homemade pizza but I personally wanted more for a pasta sauce.

Please forgive me as I forgot to take a photo of it while cooking my chicken Parm, but it really did add some dimension to my dish! The herbs are prominent, and the texture is smooth with no big chunks of tomatoes. Perfect size jar for any meal, whether it be chicken Parm pasta or anything else you’d like to use red sauce for!

I really love it because it has a pleasant flavor, like those sauces you cook slowly at home, since it has just the right amount of spices for Bolognese. The texture is ideal; it's neither watery nor too thick, so it blends perfectly with the meat. I always use it because my kids love it. I just heat the ground beef with onion, salt, and pepper, then add the sauce, cook for about 30 minutes, and that's it! It makes a delicious and super-fast Bolognese.

I wish I had remembered to take photos of the food but we ate it all before I thought of it lol I make while wheat linguini with farmstand zucchini and homemade meatballs typed with mozzarella. I like this sauce because it tastes fresh and real not canned and processed. I could actually taste tomatoes and I loved it! The while family scared it right down with a piece of garlic bread. I'll definitely buy this in the future!
