We have been using the Ragu Simply sauce and gave the Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce a try. We are impressed with the flavor for being a jarred sauce. I made baked shells with the sauce and lots of cheese. It was a hit and I will be purchasing again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently thinking I wished that someone made pasta sauce in smaller sizes because only one person in my house eats pasta and a full jar is way too much. I really like that this gives me just enough sauce for a serving and I won't be wasting jars of sauce anymore.

I have been using Ragu Traditional several times a week my entire life. I am addicted. However, one day I put my sauce on my spaghetti and took a bite and I tasted pure nastiness. Ragu, you have made a mistake. I'm sure you all were trying to branch out and do new stuff, but your loyal customers want their "TRADITIONAL" Ragu. It was bad enough when you all canceled Ragu Express (I will never get over that), but now Ragu traditional. I will not be buying your product until you bring the old one back. Love you guys, but please bring the old one back before I suffer a breakdown from good Ragu deprivation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made spaghetti yesterday and I will say adding this spaghetti sauce to my spaghetti, the family absolutely loved it. We served it with a salad and toast. The taste is awesome. It’s easy to mix and easy to prepare. Excellent brand. I will be purchasing this again soon when we have another Italian dinner. Family loved it.

We've been a fan of Ragu for decades, but the new recipe is terrible. We've always enjoyed making our spaghetti with Ragu and adding ground beef to the sauce. Would turn out perfectly every time. Those days are in the past. We notice it doesn't taste nearly as good as it did before the recipe was changed. Please go back to the original recipe. This has been so disappointing. :(

They need to bring back the old recipe. The new recipe is no doubt cheaper for them to make, which is why they changed it, but they don’t need a rocket scientist to sit down and evaluate how many lifetime customers they are losing …. And so maybe not such a profitable decision after all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family hasn't had Ragu in forever. No particular reason, just haven't picked it up. So when we tried it we weren't sure what to expect. My kids were the first to comment on it, "Its tasty." It has a good flavor and I could see using it as a base for making your own sauce too, adding in some meat, etc.

What happened to my favorite sauce?? It's horrible. It was my son's favorite and he ate it all the time....now he hates it. Please bring back the original sauce. I see everyone agrees that this new sauce is horrendous. Hope you listen to your consumers and bring back original before you lose your loyal customers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent sauce to use for a big meal - like a lasagna or pasta dinner. The taste remains the same as it was since when i was a kid. A good safe pasta sauce for sure. Nothing too over seasoned either.
