My family and I have been loyal consumers of Ragu Traditional sauce for decades but the new "recipe" with olive oil does have an after taste which ruins the delicious overall taste of this sauce. I have tried other brands every once in a great while over the decades but always go right back to Ragu Traditional. Unfortunately if the original "recipe" isn't going to be available, we're going to move to a different brand. Please bring back the original without the olive oil or at least make both available.

The Ravi Old World Style Traditional Pasta Sauce went perfect with a bag of tortellini and some garlic bread, for a quick, 10 minute meal for the whole family. I usually make my sauce from scratch, but on those nights that we’re pressed for time, having Ragu sauce on hand, is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of Ragu, it's what I use almost every time I make spaghetti. I do not know what went wrong with these but I couldn't eat it. I tried using it twice and just couldn't eat it, neither could my husband. The taste was absolutely awful . Maybe it where it was made with olive oil but I really do not know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce is really good. The texture is great. Not chunky at all. The taste is robust and not too bland or tomatoey. It is not watery and is the perfect thickness for a sauce. I give it a 10/10 and recommend it to everyone.

I grew up knowing the flavor of this. That was over 30 years ago when my mom served it and we had it often. It had a distinct flavor sort of like a McDonald's hamburger. It may not be the best, but people love it and the flavor is unique. You recognize it right away. It's also hard to replicate if you try to make it yourself. I tried the Traditional sauce today over spaghetti. I don't recognize the flavor and it's really bad. Add me to the list of those that believes it used to taste better. Never again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a family favorite. we use this sauce all the time. for normal pasta, dipping for appetizers and even adding ground beef/turkey to be make more of a bolognase. this sauce is liked by both kids and adults. its affordable and better quality than the store brand options.

Ragu is my very favorite pasta sauce. I use it several times a week. It’s easy for me since I’m getting older and don’t make my own. But adding a few ingredients makes me happy too. Mostly I just use the Original Recipe. Less sweet than all the others.
