[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We made spaghetti yesterday with this Ragu Old World Style Traditional Paste Sause and it actually came out pretty delicious. Good Ragu sauce is easy to make it, our family like it. Totally recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sweet and mild sauce with a bit of saltiness. I would think of this as a very generic American flavor. I like my sauces more garlicky with more obvious herb flavor. It's a very kid friendly sauce. It's reasonable.

If you had to define my family, we would be pastavours, especially my 2 younger kiddos. They are some spaghetti eating machines and would eat it at every meal if I let them, including breakfast. I've tried every pasta sauce out there- name brands, store brands, celebrity chef brands, you name it and we've probably tried it. Ragu is our number one favourite, and for good reason. Old world traditional is simply perfect. It has everything it needs for that perfect spaghetti dinner taste, just like nonna made. Bright tomato, a hint of garlic, a bite from the onions, you seriously wont have to add anything to this sauce. If you want to add an extra helping of veggies to your kid's diet, grab a jar of their garden combination sauce! My kids still devour the spaghetti because it still has that great ragu taste that they love! You really cant go wrong with a couple jars of this in your pantry.

This old world style traditional sauce is a great base for those who like it simple and those who want to zazz it up. Still a little more sugar per serving than I'd like.

I have used this sauce for 39 years always loved it but now that you have changed it ,it does not taste the same. There is hardly any flavor no rich tomato taste like before. It also leaves a funny taste in your mouth. I beg of you to go back to the original recipe. I am forced now to try other sauces.

The first time I tasted it was when one of my moms friends made a meal for us and I thought to myself not only does it smell good but also tastes really good. The consistency was perfect and mixed really well with the pasta. Now I use it to cook and make all kinds of recipes. This sauce has been around forever and will continue to be used by generations to come. Love it and so does my family.

Ragu was the best sauce, I grew up on it. Then when I had children they grew up on it. It was so delicious. Now they decided to " improve " it. This new version is vile, it had a horrid taste and the consistency is that of phlegm. Everything in this world is going crazy, you'd think we could count on sauce for a little comfort. Not so... Please Ragu big wigs, please bring the original recipe back!!!!!!!!

I've been eating spaghetti with your sauce for as long as I can remember. My children love it. We just had your new "with olive oil" traditional sauce. I thought I had the original, but realized as soon as I took this first bite that something was very wrong! No one ate it. We had to throw out our entire meal. It was horrible! Please get rid of this recipe. There was nothing wrong with it. Why would you change something that was perfect?! If we can't find any more of the original WITHOUT olive oil, then we'll have to find a new sauce. So sad!

I have always only bought Ragu. It has always been my favorite! I just bought some and went to eat it and thought perhaps I had bought the wrong brand by mistake because it did not taste right. I double checked and sure enough I bought what I usually buy. It tastes horrible and I will not be buying Ragu again until the recipe goes back to what it was! I now have to try to find another brand! This makes me very sad as I have always loved this brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Ragu Old World style Traditional pasta sauce through the tryit sampling community. This is a good red sauce for pasta and also you can use it for meatball subs. My family even takes it and uses it with sloppy Joe's to make them our own special version. It has a good taste and is a nice red color . My down fall is the sauce becomes watery a bit once added in with your meat for spaghetti. Other then that I would recommend it for anyone to try .
