We made the Ragu Old World Style sauce and found it to be slightly bland. It is a good basic sauce but doesn't have too much flavor overall. Definitely spice it up a little if you want some flavor, we added italian herbs. It was a very smooth texture which was nice! Overall we think it is a good "base" sauce and you can spice it up however you like or leave it be if you prefer more tomato-y sauces.

Absolutely amazing always taste is fresh and flavorful. The quality used depends on how much food I make typically I use 2 jars for a pan of meatballs or baked ziti always a pleasure to have doesn't require you to add any seasons. I add a pinch of brownsigar to balance the acid. Absolutely amazing always .

I ended up adding ground turkey breast and some vegetables to it and made a fantastic red meat sauce. I would definitely buy the sauce the next time I go to cook.

I grew up on this sauce, and I have always used and liked it. The only store bought sauce I buy. Or should I say used to buy. The current commercial with the tag line "cooks like a mother", is in the poorest of taste. I'm not sure who your target audience is, but this has left such a bad taste in my mouth I will not be using Ragu until this commercial is pulled. An apology for the reprobate tactics would be in order as well. Very disappointed ☹️

It’s very much filled with unnatural ingredients and there is no reason for that. It taste fine but is sweet because of the added sugar. Its packaging is fine like any other brand. This would not be something I would recommend or purchase. There are better alternatives and it’s ridiculous that they add soybean oil and dehydrated products.

I was a Ragu Traditional fan my entire life. The olive oil absolutely ruined it for me. I'm still trying to find another sauce that I like. Why did you ruin a good thing? I would rate it zero stars if I could. Looking at other reviews it seems that I'm not the only one who feels that way. PLEASE change it back!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves the taste of the Ragu Old World Style sauce. It's has an amazing taste and is smooth which is very important to the kids. It's easy to pull out and add to any pasta or Italian dish and we do!

What a disappointment! This was a staple in our household and has always been a great tasting basic spaghetti sauce. Unfortunately you've changed it and now it's horrible. I didn't realize it had changed until I tasted it. I thought I had an expired jar! Sour, bitter, with a little bit of sweetness is how I'd describe the flavor. It left a terrible aftertaste in my mouth.

I really liked the texture of the ingredients and you could taste the flavor! It’s not my favorite, but I’ve definitely tried pasta sauce that tasted fake than this one.
