First, I’m glad you can read the ingredients and that it’s not too chemical laden for a bottled sauce. I also like the savory flavor and it was a perfect complement to garlic turkey sausage I bought at the farmer’s market. I made a quick meat sauce that I served over spinach ravioli for a low effort and delicious lunch.

I usually make it with ground beef, but this time I wanted to switch it up and used shredded chicken instead… it turned out amazing! The texture is just right for pasta—nice and thick, not watery—and blends perfectly. It also goes a long way, and the jar is practical and easy to handle. I’d buy it again for sure.

During COVID my neighbor bought the ragu traditional with olive oil for me .... I hate it!!!!! So when I shopped myself..I made a point to find regular traditional WITHOUT olive oil.... CAN NOT FIND IT!!! I have never liked any other jar sauce but ragu ...but now I will need to find a new sauce!

I thought I was going to be disappointed but wow was I wrong. I love that it provides 40% of your daily veggie intake and the size of the jar. Protein and veggies as desired and it’s a one pot meal! The sauce has a strong tomato flavor. It is a great base to start from and add spices to make it your own.
