I get it! As a business, we must remain relevant by improving and inventing new recipe’s. When it’s not broke, what was there to fix! My dishes have changed in flavor and I have been forced to substitute the sauce. Ragu is family! Ragu is not junk or some strange unknown sauce. Why didn’t you just create a separate sauce and call it something else. Fix it! I need my sauce back…!

We browned some burger meat drained it well and mixed it well into the sauce and let it simmer for 20 minutes or so and served it over noodles topped with parmesan cheese and some red pepper flakes. Dinner was ready and on the table in under 40 minutes and was so good. This sauce is a winner in my book!!

I LOVE Traditional Ragu-all my students know it-I tell stories about it in class-all my friends know it-I have old labels from my childhood literally framed! Why oh why would you change something this popular? You could have released a new version but why would you do this? Change it back and say so quickly please! I literally have 15 jars in stock at a time-but I won't for long if you don't change it back!

Did Ragu change its recipe? We made spaghetti last night and the taste was totally different. Did not care for it one bit. Maybe we just got a bad batch. We have 2 other jars that we bought last week if they are the same all I can say for RAGU is that we will look at other brands for the first time in 20plus years.

The taste is what you would expect. It was perfect for both dishes. The only ingredient I dislike is soybean oil. This is affordable and I will buy future.

My wife and I used to love the original recipe. We do not like the new recipe with more olive oil. It is "over spiced" and has totally changed the flavor. I used to use the Traditional recipe in many of my Italian dishes and now I will not. Many of your customers are not pleased with this change. Please bring back the original recipe. I use it as a base and then add more stuff in it to my taste—grated garlic, some celery and carrots, maybe some capers. Added some red wine, too! It’s not too thick or thin of a sauce, so you can build it up or down. There aren’t any particularly overwhelming flavors. Packaging is fine—nothing bad, nothing good in my opinion.

I thought I had COVID because my Ragu tasted terrible! So I bought another jar and (BLAH!) it still tastes terrible. I have been eating Ragu for over 50 years! I always say it’s my mama’s sauce because it’s what she always used. And now it tastes awful. I want to old recipe back! Please!!!
