Let me start by saying I'm not a tomato person in general. I use tomato sauce sparingly on my pasta or pizza. That said, I love that this sauce is flavorful but doesn't have any chunks in it. I also like that there is nothing artificial in it and it only has a few simple ingredients. It's smooth and simple and tastes good - perfect for kids.

I tried the traditional variety, and it was a good mixture of tomato flavor and herbs! My whole family, including two picky children, enjoyed this as well on our spaghetti dish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is pretty good for a jarred sauce. My teenager really likes it and wants me to buy this from now on. I put it in a blender to make it super smooth for my other child that won’t eat any chunks at all. All in all it’s really good.

Our family loves pasta and especially like Ragu sauce for all our pasta dishes from spaghetti to lasagna to Alfredo Ragu is the brand we choose. It is kids approved and I love all the different flavors to choose from. I like the traditional kind the best it's perfect texture and flavor.

But for me, its a wonderful base sauce in which I can add my own other spices and vegetables to it and turn it into a whole different sauce. This sauce marries beautifully with other spices and add ins.

I have been buying the Ragu since you created the recipe. I am 62 years old and make dinners for me and my husband and my Italian Mother in law/father in law 2x a week. Last Week I bought 4 jars of the new recipe of your sauce and make our dinner with the sauce. My husband first said something is off about this sauce. It smells like garlic and it's spicy. He was right. My mother in law would not be able to eat anything spicy. I threw out the whole batch of spagetti and had to go to the store at 8:00 at nite to buy more sauce. Needless to say it wasn't ragu. SOOOO disappointed that I now have to experiment until I find our new sauce. Did you change the marinara too?

Until this week (2/4/2025), this sauce had a "non-GMO" label on it, Now, it doesn't. Why? Because it now contains soybean oil instead of olive oil, which I'm guessing was to reduce the cost to manufacture it. I'm fine with soybean oil, but it would be nice if it was non-GMO soybean oil, if that is possible.
