Agree with other reviews . The reason I am on here is I have noticed a change for the worse in the old world style sauce recipe. It's way too sweet and kind of tart. Why mess with a good thing. My family has used ragu for decades. I may actually need to find a new one if this doesn't change back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pasta sauce is okay if you are in a pinch, but it would not be my go-to sauce by any means. It is light and you can add tomatoes, garnish, garlic, meat, etc. to it to jazz it up. It’s not terrible but I would not repurchase.

I've been eating traditional Ragu since I was a kid (I'm 53 now). This is horrific. It has a sharp, acid flavor, more like a tomato soup then a slow cooked sauce. I've judged every sauce I've ever made or tried against the old style Ragu, I loved that flavor. This is how you kill a brand.

The olive oil changed the entire profile of a sauce I have supported exclusively for decades. This is one old dog who doesn’t like your new trick. Won’t buy more but will watch for the return of your old recipe. This is a Ragu pandemic I hope to survive.

This sauce is perfect for making traditional Italian dishes at home. I used it to make stuffed jumbo shells with ricotta cheese and ground chicken. I used Italian freshly shredded cheeses, and Italian seasoning and then layered it and baked it until it was perfectly melted. It turned out perfect! The sauce was excellent. I like how easy it was to incorporate into my favorite dishes without having to make the sauce from scratch. Very convenient and delicious. I would buy this brand again. Everyone loved the sauce. I would say it is very authentic in taste.

Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce is great for any pasta dish. I chopped a few squash to add into the sauce so I could sneak veggies into the dish for my kids. The only thing I had to do was add a bit more salt because it was a bit bland. But my kids loved it with their noodles and ate it up. Great for quick meals or ad add on to a dish.
