[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of a child who only eats spaghetti and nuggets, this sauce is really good. I like the cost for it since we eat spaghetti pretty often. Its simple ingredients doesn't give anyone that texture ick.

As I was picking up the jar of Ragu off the store shelf I noticed the label saying "Improved Recipe". That always makes me nervous when I see that on items I have been loyal to for years. After bringing the jar home and trying it I wished I would have left it on the shelf. I also wished I would have pulled out my phone at the store and read the online reviews before buying it. I used it in a recipe I have made for years and it was awful. I have eaten this sauce my entire life- it was so close to my Italian grandmother's recipe. Will not be buying it again. I cannot understand why companies try to fix what is not broken- good way to lose lifelong loyal customers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Ragu for One Old World Style Traditional Sauce, 4.4 oz, 4 count, from Tryit Sampling. I received it as a free sample, and I love the delicious taste that it gaves to my cooked food. The sauce is rich & smooth.

I use to buy Ragu sautéed tomatoes, onion and garlic. Loved it to make my sauce with additions of petite diced tomatoes and sautéed onions and red peppers. It was loved by everyone in my family. Couldn't find it in my grocery store so I used Chunk Style with tomatoes, onion and garlic. Sauce was too acid tasting and sharp. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ragu has always been a good sauce for my pasta dishes. My mom only used Ragu as I was growing up and even her mom used it. I have tried plenty of other sauces but I always come back to the Traditional Ragu. Can't mess with perfection!

The texture of the sauce is just right, not too thick or watery. There is a nice hint of garlic which can enhance any pasta dish or sub.

It’s a good, affordable option for quick meals and does the job when you need something simple. The texture is smooth, and the flavor is mild, which makes it easy to customize with your own herbs, spices, or meat. However, on its own, it lacks the richness and depth of flavor you’d get from homemade or higher-end sauces. It’s convenient and reliable but not my top choice for when I want a truly bold and hearty sauce.

I loved the original Old World Style Traditional Sauce, The improved recipe is not so good. I do not think that the Traditional NOW WITH Olive Oil could have been the reason the flavor in no longer good. I will not be buying the "new improved recipe".
