[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The traditional marinara sauce is a decent base but I prefer the chunky tomato, onion and garlic sauce over this since it has more flavor. I added additional herbs to the traditional sauce to get it how I like it.

The container was a little difficult to open but once I got into the jar the smell matched the taste. My only critique was that the sauce was a little smoother/runny than I expected. It was packed with flavor but made my lasagna more wet than I anticipated.

Her mom taught me how simple it was to make, so I felt like I had become the spaghetti-making master… turns out Ragu is just that good! Any time I make spaghetti without Ragu, it just isn’t the same. All of the flavors are delicious, even the ones I don’t usually like from other brands.

The sauce was a little thinner than what I'm used to, but it still coated the pasta very well. I liked that it wasn't sweet despite sugar being listed in the ingredients. The sauce is pretty good straight out of the jar, but adding some fresh garlic, onion, oregano, Basil & Italian seasoning makes it taste that much better! It's a versatile sauce that can be used on anything from pasta to pizza!
