In my house we make pasta very often and we like the sauce to be juicy and this is perfect. In addition to the fact that its price in the market is quite affordable and the packaging is super practical to use and store again.

We sometimes doctor ours up with fresh basil, oregano, minced fresh garlic. Just depends on what we'll be using it for. But, it tastes great right out of the jar with nothing else added too. Not sweet like some of the competitors.

I used to buy Ragu all the time in the past but had moved onto different brands. This Ragu Traditional sauce was just a little too plain for me, I would have preferred it had more seasonings and been maybe a little thicker as it was a semi liquidy sauce. It had good flavor though and instead of using it as pasta sauce we used it as a "marinara" sauce for our mozzarella sticks. If this sauce went on sale for a good price in the future I might buy it but there other brands I prefer more over this one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce tasted pretty good. Not much flavor but had a traditional tomato sauce taste. The kids loved that there was no big chucks in it. The packaging was standard for any Ragu sauce. I gave it 4 stars because I would have preferred a little more flavor. However, this is perfect for children.

Ragu ruined a perfect sauce that I have been using for as long as I can remember. The family thought it tasted terrible. Then we read the small yellow label on the front of the jar...now with olive oil. No mention of additional garlic. As I am allergic to garlic and my husband can no longer eat olive oil due to his cancer drug, I do not know what I can use now in my cooking dishes.

When I need a quick meal I know that this sauce will create a delicious meal that everyone will eat. Simply added some ground meat and spinach and served with some penne. I love that the sauce has no artificial flavors or colors. Made with olive oil so it’s a no brainer when I need something jarred sauce to feed my family.

When I tasted the sauce, I picked up on the spices and tomatoes. So flavorful! I will continue to use Ragu Traditional Sauce for my future dishes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce is very delicious for a premade jar. You get the sweet robust tomato taste with hints of seasonings. The jar is easy to store leftover sauce in (refrigerated of course)! It has little chunks of tomatoes which is nice and adds texture to the dish. You can use it as a pasta sauce, a drizzle on chicken parm, a dipping/marinara sauce, and many more. It is on the thinner but not quite liquid side versus thick paste side though. I definitely recommend trying if you're looking for a classic tomato sauce flavor!
