The texture was creamy and soft. The package was easy to handle while using the sauce and clear to see what is inside, also it protect very well from any leak. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tomato sauce tasted amazing and actually tasted fresh. It was not watered down like some can/jar sauce. We didn’t need to add additional seasoning to make it delicious, as it is already nicely seasoned. My kids love it and I do as well!

When I first saw "Now with Olive Oil" on the side of the Ragu bottle, I was optimistic about Ragu making changes to the only brand of pasta sauce that I eat. I even tried to convince myself that it wasn't that bad and that I even enjoyed it a little. Only now after scavenging grocery stores and gas stations to find the old recipe is the truth apparent to me. Whatever changes that Ragu has made to the traditional pasta sauce recipe has left them with an inferior product. It is too sweet, has a terrible aftertaste and is just plain gross. Please bring back the old sauce or at the very least give us a choice. I can't eat my pasta without it.

It turned out very tasty! The sauce itself is very tasty, you can spread it on bread and eat it like that) The composition is very good, not a large amount of sugar, no chemical additives. This is the first time I try it and I am very pleased. It's a pretty big jar, enough for several different recipes.

But for me, its a wonderful base sauce in which I can add my own other spices and vegetables to it and turn it into a whole different sauce. This sauce marries beautifully with other spices and add ins.

It has a very robust tomato flavor that when paired with their other seasonings makes Italian night easy. We use it for spaghetti and lasagna. It will forever be a family pantry staple.
