[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ragu spaghetti sauce is definitely one of our family’s favorite. It’s very affordable compared to the other brands and the smooth texture is great for picky kids. The packaging is very easy to open but the ingredients could be better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping that I would like this. I am Italian and make my own sauce so it’s pretty hard for me to like anything jarred. It tasted more like a pizza sauce than it did a pasta sauce. I tried adding onions, garlic, and a splash of white wine, but it still tasted off.

I haven't had Ragu for several years and bought some last week. First thing I noticed is it seemed a bit off compared to how I remembered it in the past. I bought a 2nd bottle a week later and noticed the same thing with it. Today while talking on the phone to my brother he asked me out of the blue if I thought Ragu changed their recipe. I said yes, but couldn't pin point just how. Well he did. Ragu used to have a bit of sugar in it and this new recipe does not and therefore it's more tart. Tomato sauce products (even pizza sauce) always taste better when a little bit of sugar is added to take out the tartness. IDK why Ragu decided to go with a more tart flavor now, but it's not an improvement. Maybe they saved $.01 per bottle removing sugar. Also this new recipe is more watery. You will literally have water in your spaghetti sauce as you're eating it. So this is not "new and improved" by any means.

Its been awhile since I have had Ragu but this Old World Style Ragu is delicious. I like that it is not a sweet pasta sauce like some jarred sauces are. Its cheap and makes a great quick dinner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ragu’s Old World Style Traditional Sauce has become a staple in my home when I’m making different pasta dishes needing spaghetti sauce. I used to spend hours making homemade spaghetti sauce, but with work and kids who has that kind of time to spend hours during the week making sauce?!? After trying a few different sauces and them being just mediocre, I wasn’t expecting much out of Ragu’s Traditional Sauce, but boy was I wrong! The sauce has an incredible flavor and a great consistency of not being too watery or thick, and my whole family loves it! My kids especially love it when I use Ragu’s Old World Traditional Sauce and their Alfredo Sauce when making million dollar spaghetti! I never thought it would taste as good as it does with my homemade spaghetti sauce and Alfredo sauce, but it’s literally just as good with the jars of Ragu sauces that save me hours in the kitchen. I highly recommend!!!

This sauce was easy to use. I was able to use half the jar to make pasta and used the other half for homemade pizza. I enjoyed the taste - it wasn't very sweet like some sauces. It added delicious flavor to our meals. I would buy this product in the future when making different Italian style dishes. I recommend this sauce to anyone looking to add delicious flavor to a tomato-sauce based dish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the flavor of this sauce and it’s made by a brand that every domestic house has come to know. I made a ground chicken and sausage with tiny shell pasta and it came out so very flavorful and the texture was smooth and just right. It came in a box wrapped in cardboard and had bubble wrap to insure I got it in one piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yum! This is my usual go to for pasta sauce in a hurry. I love the flavor and it is inexpensive. The taste is a bit different than other pasta sauces. Maybe more like a sweeter taste. Hard to explain, the full taste difference. But it is different. This bottle was glass and I didn’t know they had packaged in glass. Generally, I’ve only seen plastic bottles so that was new. Overall, I liked the product and I am happy I got to try it again through Influenster.
