I grew up with ragu in my spaghetti and loved it! I just recently purchased a new bottle not noticing they made a change. I put in with my noodles and tasted it. It was not right! The flavor was totally wrong! This is not the product I want to continue to purchase! Please go back to the original recipe. The health conscious are probably not eating spaghetti anyway, much less with a pre-made sauce!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try the Ragu Old World Style Sauce. The ingredients list is good. I appreciate the olive oil. The sauce has a good aroma and texture. It would work well in recipes such as lasagna. I decided to brown ground beef to add to it for this meal and placed it on top of premium pasta. It looked delicious just the right thickness and it stuck to the pasta perfectly. We didn’t care much for the flavor as it seemed too sweet to us. I imagine kids would really like it though. We tend to like sauces that are more rustic and not sweet at all.

It's very flavorful and isn't too thick like some of the other jar sauces. While nothing beats homemade red gravy, Ragu's sauce is a great substitute when you are short on time and money.

Over the years, I’ve used it on its own for a quick dinner and also doctored it up to use whatever I had in the fridge. It’s truly a staple in my kitchen. The Old World Style has simple ingredients and a rich flavor that make it a great base for so many meals.

My mother used this, I now use it and my two daughters use it. We all love this product. Our grandchildren will not eat any other spaghetti sauce. However, now it is impossible to find in Ontario. I hope this is just a production problem because of Covid and will be in stores soon.
