Everything on it was pronounceable, and a fairly short list. My only disappointment was the soybean oil. Take that out and it's great! We cooked up hot Italian sausage, some onion and garlic to add in for texture. Tasted really good before that, but my husband is extra ;)

It tastes just like homemade sauce, but without the hassle. I have tried many other sauces, but I also come back to this one.

I prefer Rao’s marinara because I like slightly thicker sauces with some chunky tomato pieces and the taste of olive oil in a red sauce. My husband likes a smoother red sauce and something that tastes more like what he grew up with so we overall gave it a 4/5. The texture is smooth and uniform. It has a rich tomato paste flavor, and coats pasta well. It is a bit on the sweeter side because of the little added sugar— I could see this being a plus when making Filipino style spaghetti. It is my husband’s preference for dipping because of the texture and uniformity (i.e. mozzarella sticks) and I can agree with him on that point. The seasoning is good, you can taste onion and garlic. I think if they subbed the soybean oil for olive oil, it would match my preferences more and have a better mouthfeel but overall we liked it. It is a versatile sauce, and comes at an especially good price.

Poor quality ingredients used in this product that shouldn’t exist in a simple pasta sauce- soybean oil is the second listed ingredient which means there is a massive amount of oil in this recipe.

First of all, it tastes delicious, like homemade, and it's also easy when you just need a quick sauce for your pasta. I usually make homemade sauce, so I appreciate the amazing texture and thickness that Ragu sauce has when I don't feel like slaving over a hot stove yet want that homemade taste. Ragu adheres to the pasta without slipping off. That's why I like making guloush with Ragu, and it's also our favorite way to eat it. Want to know what's even better? Ragu has 40% of your daily vegetables also and only 70 calories per serving, I mean, that's a big plus! I choose Ragu over other sauces.
