The previous model had better absorbency and odor control, and was better made. When I leave home I wear a Depend pad inside the Depend underwear. This eliminates having to change underwear in a public restroom. Problem now is that the new underwear is so flimsy removing the pad usually pulls apart the underwear.

Even a bit of leakage was readily absorbed and not noticable. the fit is nice and not bulky. Other times I use the shields which are good as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say it was not very impressed with this product. I used them for my 50-year-old husband that was on hospice die to cancer. My first complaint is that it was somewhat difficult to tell the front from the back. When you're dealing with managing someone who cannot move themselves very well you don't want to make any errors and have to take them off and put them back on. There's a very faint mark on the back to tell you which side is which but it still got it mixed up more than once. My other complaint is that the area that absorbs should've been larger. The padded area is mostly in the front, but it would've been good to have more in the back. The absorbency wasn't that great because the underpads I had below him were also completely drenched with urine after an accident. I would say that it did OK with the odor control because despite being drenched, I did not smell the urine which was a very strong odor since it was more concentrated. They fit fine & he seemed comfortable in them though they were somewhat difficult to get off requiring scissors. Overall, I would not recommend these because I don't think they were super helpful. He didn't pee on the sheets because of them, but they really didn't contain the urine overall.

With it DryShield I didn't experience any odor. Didn't not experience any leaking and fits true to sizing. I would highly recommend Depends for any man suffering from incontinence looking for discrete protection. The item description was just as described and I would buy it again.
