[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Depend Fresh Protection do just as they claim: They are highly absorbent and durable beyond belief! Before getting into the performance, however, the fit is true to size. I found it fit my dimensions well, and it was rather comfortable too. It did not feel significantly different than other undergarments. It fit snugly, so putting on a pair of pants did not bunch them up, so they remained comfortable. Now, moving to performance. As you can see from my photos, I applied warm water with a measuring cup to test absorbency with exact measures. As I poured water onto the product, there was no leaking whatsoever. In fact, the final photo taken shows no leaking after 8 cups of water applied! That would be more than enough in most instances. This product does just as it promises in regards to its absorbent nature. I was unable to properly test odor resistance, however. If the odor protection works half as well as the absorbent materials, it would be more than sufficient. With that said, I believe this product to be a fantastic option for men struggling with incontinence. I have no reservations in saying that!

Recently I started having a lot difficulty making it to the bathroom in time. It was very embarrassing when this happened outside the house. This product has given me all my confidence back. I normally wear boxers but after my recent prostate surgery I need a barrier to wear briefs and purchased the 28 count L/XL Fit Flex Depends. They do work well as a barrier and are somewhat discrete but the fabric that holds the absorbent material tears away across the top with the slightest exertion or activity allowing the absorbent material to escape which makes an embarrassing mess. I constantly have to replace them throughout the day due to them falling apart like this just from normal activity; at 63 I do not perform any extreme sports or anything like that. I am not happy with the durability of Depends Fit Flex and will look for another brand and/or try a different type of shield.
