I have used Palmolive for years for the quality and scent. I am very sensitive to strong scents and have managed to avoid the unpleasantly sickly sweet smell of most dish soaps. I just opened the new bottle I ght and was very sad to smell the horrible new scent and not the familiar Palmolive scent. I will be getting rid of what I have and will start searching for something else. Please come to your senses and bring back the original scent.

It smells wonderful, though, I think the scent has changed since, it is thick, not watery, so you end up washing more dishes with just one squeeze. I would definitely recommend this Product over others.

My family actually uses Palmolive dish soap in general so it was great to see the comparison in real time. The improved version is tougher on grease and can be applied on multiple cleaning tasks. My mom used the soap to clean a rug and it worked so effectively! And the smell of the dish soap is great! I can't wait to buy this in the stores. I highly recommend this product. Ok, so I came to the website to see if they sold the Ultra Strength in a different scent. Like others, I really, REALLY don't like how it smells. I was using the Free & Clean in "lavendar & eucalyptus" scent, which was heavenly, but can't find it in any stores in that scent anymore. Anyhow, I used this and was very impressed by how squeaky clean it gets my dishes, so was baffled with the other reviews that say it doesn't clean. I have a split sink and fill half with soapy water to soak and clean my dishes. I never just use a sponge and soap. Maybe that's the difference--doing it that way dilutes the smell and gives the detergent some time to work on dirty dishes when you submerge them in soapy water for a few minutes. Anyhow, my wish would be for the company to make the Ultra Strength in the lavender & eucalyptus scent. That would be awesome! Maybe the yucky smell of the Ultra Strength has something to do with the cleaning agent used. I'm guessing it might have a strong unpleasant smell and this is the best the company can do to cover it up with perfume. Long story short: I think it works so well that I'll tolerate the smell until I can find something else that does the job with a better scent because in this instance, function is more important than form.

Even a small amount is enough to get your dishes and utensils clean and smelling fresh. This dish soap works amazingly well on greasy pots and dishes. I do a lot of cooking and serving, and I always use this soap to wash up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this awesome product to review and I was completely satisfied and stunned at how great it worked. I had never tried this product before and I realized you probably get what you pay for. I washed dishes as normal and was very pleased with the results. Then I left some dishes soaking in suds and it really cut through all the caked on food. Also, as you will notice from my picture, suds galore! It also didn't hurt that it smelled wonderful. I'm a convert!

My household bought Palmolive dishwashing liquid for communal use in our kitchen as it was a good value for the price. However, after starting to use it, I developed very bad allergies and atopic dermatitis (dyshidrosis) all over my hands. At first I thought it was just a small allergy from other factors, but after washing the dishes numerous times, my hands got worse and worse, to the point where it was very itchy and painful. I realised that the culprit had to be PalmOlve dishwashing liquid and NOTHING else in my routined changed. We TOSSED OUT the ENTIRE bottle. Never buying Palmolive every again, and still waiting for my hands to heal and return back to normal.

For 20+ Years my Family used this Dish soap exclusively. I grew up as a kid and can always remember that distinctive bottle with the bright green color sitting on the the side of the sink.The one thing I could always remember was that Palmolive smelled like no other. One of the most pleasant fragrances for a Dish Soap. For some reason, Palmolive decided to change the fragrance and now it smells like Bubble gum! You completely ruined my experience! I always thought I could depend on that classic smell. You could have left it alone; More that 20 years and you change it now? just that thought alone irritates me. Your complete disregard for your customers has forced us to switch over to DAWN. By the way, I hate using dawn. Dawn couldn't hold a candle compared to the classic Palmolive. You have no respect for your customers.
