[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving this bottle of Palmolive as part of a free trial I was very excited to try it out. I'm pleased to report that it not only smelled great but it works even better than it smells somehow. I normally buy the big brand names but after trying and smelling this I'm planning on switching. Definitely give it a try!

I have used Palmolive for years for the quality and scent. I am very sensitive to strong scents and have managed to avoid the unpleasantly sickly sweet smell of most dish soaps. I just opened the new bottle I ght and was very sad to smell the horrible new scent and not the familiar Palmolive scent. I will be getting rid of what I have and will start searching for something else. Please come to your senses and bring back the original scent.

I have been using original scent Palmolive for as long as I can remember--and I'm 72 years old! I even remember the Palmolive commercials with Madge--softens hands while you do the dishes. I've tried other dish washing detergents in the past and they were rough on my hands, so I always came back to Palmolive. Palmolive always cuts through the grease and gets my dishes squeaky clean, so why use something different? Now, I just opened a new bottle--it's green looks like the same detergent I've been using, but it says "new". Horror of horrors! The smell is so bad. I'm allergic to perfume and start coughing. This is just as bad as cheap perfume. And the smell lingers on hands and sponge. Heaven knows what it leaves behind on my dishes! I don't know why everyone wants to keep improving things. When you already have perfection, don't try to improve it. Sadly, I now need to see if I can find some unscented dish washing detergent like I had to do with laundry detergent. So sad that products can't keep their original scent or formula.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dish soap works very well! I like that it is Ultra Strength and good for getting even the most difficult stains cleaned. Good for use on all dishes. I would recommend it! I like that it is made form recyclable material as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Palmolive has always been a trusted brand. Palmolive ultra strength completely lives up to its name. I find this dish soap has a very pleasant smell. Cuts through grease very effectively and a little goes a long way. It also makes a lot of bubbles. This product does not dry out my hands. It's almost like adding a skin softener to the dishwater.

I have used it over the last week and my hands definitely feel better than when I use other dish soap products. I’m guessing with how much I hand wash dishes that this bottle will outlast any other dish soap I have used based off how little I have to use. Highly recommend trying it out. Have I mentioned how amazing it smells as well!

I purchased a bottle as well as a replacement jug of soap. This was the newly 200% degreaser. I am truly disappointed with this new product. The first time I used it the new smell was overwhelmingly chemical and it dried out and burnt my skin. It hasn’t recovered since yesterday. This new formula is far too caustic for every day household use. I for one will no longer be purchasing this product from Palmolive for this reason. I also find it hugely inconvenient to use the product in a household as it’s so caustic you need to to wear gouges every time you wash a dish which is highly inconvenient. I liked the previous formula. It really cleaned my kitchen well, wasn’t hard on my hands and I could wash a quick dish. Not the case with the new formula. It stinks! Whoever came up and approved it didn’t really understand his folks do dishes. Not all of us use dishwashers. As a matter of fact many don’t. My family has used Palmolive products for over 60 years and I will have to hunt for a different product. Shame on this company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Palmolive it always cleans the best. Now with Palmolive Ultra Strength cuts thru everything. Has a-lot of suds and clean grease completely. Plus with Palmolive you do not need to use that much to clean. Highly recommended!!!

Opened my new bottle and the new sickly sweet smell made me gag! I have been buying Palmolive my whole life and for my professional kitchen for years and I believe that I am finished using it if they keep this scent. Why change something that isn't broken?
